To long for someone to share your dream. To find that someone to help you gleam. To wonder if she is really out there. To ponder, �Does anybody actually care?� To not see color, to not hear sound. To be unable to distinguish the sky from the ground. To know the world turns, but what is night? What is day? To hear the words but not know what they say. To long for sleep, the need to escape. To have a world that you can shape. But rather than that you�re stuck in a cage. Watching the world go by as you wither and age. To want to be one of the crowd. To want to have a voice, strong and loud. To want to fit in, but never belong. To try to do right, but always do wrong. To want to stay focused, to want to succeed. To watch yourself dying, to watch yourself bleed. To have everyone say, �Your actions I do not condone.� This is what it means to be alone. |
