Kudou-san's Story
Kudou Yuusaku is the father of Kudou Shinichi, or Edogawa Conan. He is a mystery novel writer, and an excellent one at that. After Shinichi was old enough to take care of himself, he and his wife Yukiko moved to Los Angeles so he could work in peace.

About Kudou-san
Kudou's most famous work is possibly the Night Baron. He has practically everyone in both Japan and America waiting with bated breath for the next story! But besides just writing mysteries, he can solve crimes even faster than Shinichi can! He loves to tease his son about his abilities as well.
However, although Kudou-san can seem a bit, er, cold, sometimes, he is truly a very intelligent yet caring person. He understands his family - especially Shinichi's - feelings very well, but he just can't resist making fun of him ^_^

Friends & Family
His son is Kudou Shinichi, later turned Edogawa Conan, our main focus of the animanga. He married the beautiful model/actress Yukiko when he was around 21, and after Shinichi was able to take care of himself they moved across the globe to America.
His best friend is possibly Agasa-hakase. He loves to tease him with jokes that have hidden meaning - such as "Dr. Sun" - but one can tell that they are very good friends.
