Heiji抯 Story
Hattori Heiji is basically the Western version of Kudo Shinichi. He is one of the very few who knows Edogawa Conan抯 real identity~he found out during the Case of the Holmes Fan Club. Conan stunned Heiji and used him to solve the case, but Heiji woke up a lot earlier than expected, so he knows Conan抯 secret. Heiji first wanted to meet Shinichi because he wanted to challenge him to see who can solve the mystery faster, but with a few words of wisdom from Shinichi (Conan had turned back temporarily due to drinking Paikal), he learns that deduction is not a matter of superiority, because 搕here is only one truth!?
About Heiji
Heiji lives in Osaka, which is in Western Japan. He has a very recognizable Western accent >.< that no one can imitate. He is an excellent detective and his skills match that of Kudo Shinichi抯, although Shinichi is calmer while Heiji tends to be very passionate. He has a very good heart and also a big mouth. He always calls Conan 揔udo?in front of Ran and has to come up with some sort of excuse卆nd he抯 pretty good at coming up with excuses >.< He has a卻trange? sense of humor. Heiji is also a great kendo fighter.
When solving cases, Heiji always wears a green cap with the word SAX printed on the front. When his hat is on straight (facing the right way), that means he's serious. Usually the cap is backwards.
Friends & Family
Parents: Hattori Heizo and Hattori Shizuka. Hattori Heizo is the chief at the Osaka Police Department, and Shizuka used to do kendo herself and has obviously passed down her sense of humor to her son.
Heiji, like Shinichi, has a childhood girl friend, Toyama Kazuha. Once, when they were young, they were handcuffed together by Heiji抯 father抯 handcuffs, and they had to do everything together梕ven shower! ALL DAY! Heiji and Kazuha both have a good-luck charm, called an onamori, to protect them. The onamori shows just how deep their relationship is匱hey love each other very much, but would not admit it to each other... >.<
Heiji抯 also friends with Kudo Shinichi, a.k.a. Conan. They solve many cases together. He calls Ran 揘eechan?as a sign of respect.
