Yuva Marathi Sangh, Bangalore -
aptly called as 'yuva' is a group of Marathi Speaking youth in
Bangalore. Yuva has around 50 members - some born and brought up in
Bangalore & others who came here for jobs.
Yuva is an offshoot of Maharashta Mandal, Bangalore and many members of
Yuva are also members of Maharashtra Mandal, Bangalore.
The activities of Yuva include
1. Trekking: We go for treks almost once every 2 months.
2. Sports: Badminton & cricket lovers team up to play.
3. Music: We have a group called 'yuva sangiit premii' who meet
frequently to practice & perform at the Mandal.
4. Drama: We have people with talent and passion for the rich heritage
of Marathi Theatre. We participate in many Marathi plays performed at
Maharashtra Mandal as well as Ravindra Kalakshetra, Bangalore.
The Yuva Marathi Sangh has a yahoogroup named yuva. The subscription is
