The Romulan Armed Forces

The Romulan military has at present over 350 000 warp capable ships, over 11000 000 non commissioned members and 1000 000 officers. It is at the forefront of technologicial, medical, and scientific development in all areas. The military is a key part of Romulan society and the economy contributing culture to society and prosperity to the economy. One of the reasons why our citizens are so strong willed is because of the values that they learn while serving. The Romulan Armed Forces is the most powerful body in this galaxy, it is a force to be reckoned with. The military is also essential to the survivial of our race, people, beliefs, and political system as our enemys constantly seek to destroy us. It is a citizens duty and life's purpose to serve. All Romulan citizens are given the right to serve and are conscripted in to one of the services when they turn eighteen. All citizens are given the priviledge of serving for ten years, at which point they may continue to serve or may rejoin cilvilian life. Four Services exist in a unified military force:(unification occured recently due to the reforms enacted by Al'anan. This is designed to increase cooperation amoung the serves, inter-operational ability, deployability, and effectiness of the military.)

  3. Romulan Navy(RN)
  4. Romulan Spacial Fleet(RSF)
  5. Tal Shiar(TS)

Statement of Defence Principles

The Romulan Armed Forces is the peoples own military, a military of workers and soldiers created and built by Al'anan and the Romulan People. The Romulan Armed Forces have a special responsibilty for the defence of the Romulan Star Empire. This responsibility is fufilled through a comittiment by the Military and its solidiers, to the following principles and obligations:
