Had forgotten how stunning the vista of the city is when you round Bradleys Head. Nothing compares anywhere in the World.
.We tied up in Lavender Bay so Jude could jump off and head into North Sydney, a short walk away. Later it was off to the Fish Market in Blackwattle Bay for a nosh up on prawns, and back to anchor in Cameron Cove Balmain for a barbacue with Jude's cousins Annie and Dave Lot who were out for the Rugby World Cup.
We paddled ashore in Balmain "Where are we?" we asked the natives. "Get back on your boat" they shouted, "this is NOT Australia for immigration purposes!! We don't want any boat people around here" they laughed! They soon agreed we could use their little Bay for the night. It would soon be out of bounds as the Water Police have built a new headquarters and are taking up residence in the New Year.
We enjoyed our night within sound and sight of the CBD.
