A Le Mans style start from the beach and they're off - Duck and Tony Norman, who joined us for the week of fun and games went right through to the last 4 in the Hobie Cat Challenge!
Then down to some serious racing on Destiny in the Around Mololo Island Race [12nm] with Canadian crew from "Ardmacree" leaving catamarans in our wake! Won second on handicap in very fluky conditions.
Next day, anchored off the Sandbank, we left our inhibitions somewhere else and represented our Country in the rude games day along with Sandy and Julian Way from the cat "Cat-chus" |

Object of this "game" is for the 'lady" to run across the beach with a slippery cold stubbie between her legs, "pour" it into the beaker of the awaiting partner without hand contact, he drinks whats left - then Next! On the left Sandy and Duck try the horizontal method encouraged by Julian, then Jude does it standing up. THE ALL BLACKS WON FOR THE 4TH YEAR RUNNING!
Destiny won another prize for one of the best dressed dinghies with this little number.
