| We set off from Coffs Harbour to sail to Port Stephens in a brisk breeze from the NE. Travelling offshore about 7 miles we picked up a 3 knot current setting South, so at 8-9 knots over the ground we made excellent time and decided to bypass Port Stephens and keep going to Pittwater where we passed Barrenjoey Light at 4.30pm Nov 5th [33hrs] and Peter caught a very nice little tailor which tasted delicious.
