| What've we been up to these last couple of months? We moved back into our unit in Manly and decided to re-let it unfurnished on a 12 month lease. This meant storing the furniture, so we arranged with our tenant in Mona Vale to section off the end of the huge garage there and pack our furniture in. It was a tight fit! [below] Duck and Nigel plan some work on the Cuckoos Nest. |

| Jude makes friends with one of Australia's native animals, a baby wombat, and we take Shirley John and son Peter for a cruise on Shirley's patriotic Birthday. Terry Fewell and Cecily come to the rescue on numerous ocassions with the loan of a vehicle and a bed for the night. We've decided to kidnap their adorable maltese Yossie. |

Currently we're house-sitting for Nigel and Imogen Holman in their Manly waterfront property. We've decided to use the opportunity to take Destiny out of the water for a quick antifoul before we head North for our sojourn in the Whitsunday Islands. Can't wait to get to warmer climes. It's getting rather chilly here on the harbour though the weather has been fantastic, but no rain which we badly need for the dams. We're both keeping busy as times flys. Duck is doing some welding work for the Treharne "boys" at Manly Boatshed, and I'm cleaning out lockers, doing some writing, exercising and reading. Watch this space for more adventures!! |
