What is a Hero?
Is a hero a football player, or basketball player or baseball player?
Sports players are not the best people for a hero because of drugs, violence and adultery, they are not good role models.
What about police, firemen, and preacher's... maybe; but they can be tempted to do the same because they are humans.
How about comic book characters like Spiderman, Batman, Superman, X-Men. Are these hero's? NO... they are not real people, so how can they be hero's?
To me, my hero's are handicapped or sick kids like my son and daughter. Because of health problems I almost lost them. So to me, they are my hero's. Between the two of them they had eight surgery's... they've been through a lot and still stay happy and playful.
So as far as I'm concerned, the handicapped and the very sick are my hero's because they can not be tempted with that of most people. They go through so much...and still fight their way through life with a positive attitude and to be everybody's hero.
So everytime you see a handicapped or a very sick child...........
think about what they go through.
As far as I'm concerned... they are the TRUE HERO in my book, and should be treated as Hero's.
