Destiny's House, Inc. is a community-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is the provision of temporary housing and other life-support services to homeless lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered youth in the Essex county, northern New Jersey area. With the support of LGBT individuals and organizations as well as the larger community, Destiny's House aids young people discarded by their families on account of their sexual orientation in securing shelter, sustenance, medical care, life skills and vocational training. |
