| Cooped up in five star luxury for 10 days at Laguna Quays resort, we made the very most of the facilities! Golf, tennis, swimming pool, almost to ourselves! Built by the japanese no cost was spared, the result is stunning, but in need of upgrading! Development plans are staggering, but all revolve around getting an International Airport there. It will be interesting to see the place in 10 years time! |
| Sorry about the quality of the pictures, but the weather was very blustery and overcast, which is why we stayed so long! [We also reduced the quality to speed download time!] Destiny is moored left of the cat at the base of the ramp to the club house. Great bunch of people here. Got to know each other well, as we were all in the same boat so to speak! Shared a Taraga into Proserpine and Airlie Beach otherwise were confined to camp! When we weren't practicing our golf on the immaculate driving range, chipping and putting facilities, we were in the pool at the raquet club, pictured here. The saga with the golf was that Duck thrashed Jude the first round played, but after a week of humiliation, and unbearable duckisms, she honed her game on the practice range, and the following week, played in the same competition and got her own back, winning the individual stableford off a handicap of 12! |
