Survival at sea [fishing]
The tackle had been towed behind Destiny for two days with no success!
Townsville to Magnetic Island, to Pioneer Bay on Orpheus Island, part of the Palm Island group.
Next day we decided not to go through the Hinchinbrook Passage, it was good sailing weather so we went close to the East coast to admire the spectacular scenery, the mountains cloaked in cloud.
Here Duck has pulled in the line to inspect the hook as we're passing Zoe Bay [Uncle Duck  named it for you Zoe Grout!]

Several false alarms as copious amounts of weed were snagged and had to be disentangled!

Then, at last, success!

A HUGE mackeral had committed suicide by grabbing Duck's hook!

We called him Kent, as we were passing the Kent group of Islands at the time, and he also reminded Jude of someone she once worked with!

In the excitement of holding it up for the camera, and trying to avoid it's very substantial teeth, Kent managed to wriggle out of Duck's grasp, back to where he came!

Duck went into a deep depression, but we had proven the tackle, it worked, and there were still fish to be caught!

Then we met Russell.
See Ducks quackings from Cairns and meet him yourselves!
