the season i was looking forward to has come. the city is exciting, the city is filled with life. the morning comes earlier than usual, i feel i can walk well because of that... there are plenty of horrible news around now. but please don't leave joy because of sadness. the short summer is starting now. how many memories we created with you? the sun is shining bright and waves are rolling on the shore. the twisted, sharp sky between the buildings: the sky i saw was once wide and endless... i thank you for being at my side and giving me a gentle smile

Friday 29th October 2004 _____""

The school actually dumped us in the hall for the last time. Being in an air conditioned room is nice, but not when we have to sit on the floor and let our legs rot. lol, anyway it all ended with the interclass and houses prize presentation.

We got back our results today. Felt kind of happy when I received my results. I am the 20th in class and 76th in level. And I was so afraid that I would not be able to make it into the Express Stream next year due to my horrible English results.

Heard that the rest of the classes below ours didn't do very well. Mrs Koh told me that a lot of people from those classes will be retained or channeled to the Normal Academic Stream.

Class ended after the Discipline master made a last check on the cleanliness of our class. We bade Mrs Koh our final farewell for the year, with a loud, heart-felt "Goodbye", since she will not be taking us next year. I will miss her though. She is the only teacher I dare to confide my problems with, be it in the academic or non-academic areas.

The below table contain my results =)

Overall

English = 51, C6. [ I am getting tuition for that =) ]

Chinese = 50, C6 [ I just can't seem to score for Chinese ]

Amaths = 70, A2 [ I almost failed my mid-year and it pulled my results down, so this don't really count hor. ]

E maths = 68, B3 [ What can I say, Mrs Tang teaches me only examples =P ]

Biology = 62, B4 [ Blame my horrid foundation for the top part of the year ]

Combine Chem/Phy = 73, A2 [ Again, my mid year pulled me down ]

Geog/SS = 46, D7 [ Blast SS ]

Design and Technology = 79, A1 [ I love DnT =) ]

Remarks: "me" is a promising student who strives hard to perform well in his studies. He should keep up the good work and strive for even better results next year.

Class Ranking: 20/43        l      Level Ranking: 76/248

L1R5 Aggregate: 21

L1R4 Aggregate: 14

I so blardy tired rite now...

School today was absolutely BORING... those post exam activities make me feel so dead. My back and legs hurts from the 5 hours of sitting on the floor. lol

The debate btween 3B and 3A made my day. I agree with the judges too, the debate really lack what the audience will call 'action' this year. All the debaters, with an exception of Ting Yan and Byron really did not connect much with the Audience.

++++++

Someone, whom I do not wish to mention on this blog, actually told me I was damn insulting all the time. Well let me tell u, that 'someone', I AM DARN PROUD TO BE THIS INSULTING ALL THE TIME. I may be a tinge insulting at times but I don't remember being too evil towards U, so stop being oversensitive. Do reflect on yourself and ask yourself why you've been acting so PMS-sy lately towards me. U actually made me wonder whether I could count U as a friend lately.

I need a haircut badly. lol.. my hair is bit too thick. Better book an appointment with the hairdresser. I wanna straighten my hair again. =D

Tuesday 26th October 2004 _____""

For some reason, I decided to remove yesterday's post. lol.... i actually got some people who e-mailed me because they thought I insulted Toro, this guy from the chinese drama, Ren Wo Au You.

We saw the overall mark sheet today. I am in 11th position in class and 38th position in entire leve of Secondary 3 Express stream. I was quite impressed since I improved from 121st to this place rite now. I am 2nd in class for DnT. Err yes 3C and not just the 5 people who did DnT as an extra subject. I am so blardy proud of myself, for beating the core DnT people of my class. I doubt I did as the peepx from 3D. How can u ask me to compare with DnT pros like Benny? lol.

I was enrolled for the Temasek Polytechnic course. It didn't clash with any choir schedules...=( hohum. Instead it collided with the Tablet PC course. Ms Quek is still enquiring if I can go at a later time for me. I want to go for both courses, u know?

Lion King actually found out that the DnT tablet Pc course collides with choir on 2 more days. Chui Ying missed out on two days. I hope Mr Lee can help me get out of my CCA. I get so sick of seeing choir musical sheets, the RAT and LK's  face.

Saturday 23rd October 2004 _____""

guess what? i told my mum my english results and she EXPLODED! and I haven't even told her my chinese and humanities results.

I have been reclining on this rosewood sofa while zapping through channels on the TV with a remote control the entire morning, thinking about the future; MY future. About where I even want to be and what I wanted to do about my declining grades for the 3 subjects. Mum had offered to get an english totor. I felt bad... really bad. It is just that the A maths tuition which did wonders to my a maths grades has actually drilled one hole in her pocket. I do feel bad, truly....

sigh... i feel kind of fed up right now...

I just saw the evil schedule for Choir this holidays. Let's see... we'll be having intensive vocal training for 4 days (10th, 13th, 15th, 17th December), 9am-5pm and with no lunch breaks. How evil could Lion King and the Rat get !  See lahz... evil.

I think I wanna quit choir at the end of this year. It is just that I do not want to put o levels at risk. What is the use of me doing well in my CCA and doing badly in my O levels examinations. Not worth it ritez? ritez... I'd rather be doing real intensive memorising of the bio textbook and studying my english than singing anywae. YES... I know i am tone deaf. Lol... i dare to admit it so u guys out there who are tone-deaf don't be so embarrassed by this inability too horx.

Fortunately, I couldn't attend some of choir practices due to the DnT courses Mr Lee (my DnT teacher in school) had enrolled me in. Oh yeahz Ms Quek may also put me down for this designing course in Temasek Polytechnic and I do hope it disrupt my choir schedule.

Did I mentioned that the designing course that Mr Lee had put me down for could actually win me the chance to get this tablet PC for a year =D hmm, I do hope I succeed in the project task.
