(Craig and Ashley making out on the bed)
*Craig reaches for her belt buckle and Ashley grabs his hand and sits up, Craig does the same, disappointed.*
Ashley: Craig, I'm sorry. It's just, I love you.
*Craig doesn't know what to say, so he instead tries to kiss her, but she stops him*
Craig: What?
Ashley: Well, do you, you know, feel like that?
Craig: Nah, not really. I think you're dumb and you kinda smell.
*Craig laughs, but Ashley doesn't join in*
Craig: OK, that was supposed to be a joke.
Ashley: I should get back to my homework. Spinner's loading me up with more work for Paige's surprise party.
Craig: Ash? Look, of course I feel, like you do. It's just,
*Craig can't finish his sentence. Ashley decides to change the subject and looks in her mirror*
Ashley: Holy make out hair. I'd better um...
*She walks out of the room and Craig lies back on the bed frustrated*
Craig: Ash?
(Craig and Marco are walking outside of the school and they run into Spinner)
Craig: Spinner, when you and Paige are like...like...like in the moment, does she stop you or...
Spinner: Dude, wha...what do you want a video?
Craig: Thanks, but no. More like help.
Spinner: OK, well I...I don't know what to do.
Marco: It's OK Craig, looks like somebody here hasn't made it past third base himself.
Spinner: Like you know anything about getting to home plate. You're...too busy checking out the batboy.
*deleted scene*
(Marco and Craig outside of the school talking about Ashley after Spinner just left)
Craig: Look, ignore him. I'm dying here, man. I like...need her.
Marco: What, you just want to get laid?
Craig: No, it's not like that.
Marco: You sure?
*deleted scene*
(Craig and Marco in the hallway of school)
Marco: So, do you love her?
Craig: Well, that's a really big word.
Manny: Hi, Craig.
Craig: Uh, hi.
Marco: Manny's just uh...putting it all out there, huh?
Craig: Never noticed.
Liberty: Last chance to send a Rose-O-Gram.
Marco: Hey, perfect. Look, send Ash one OK? Show her how you really feel.
*Craig makes a face*
Marco: Come on, man. A little romance, it's not gonna kill ya.
Liberty: Next?
Craig: Uh...one please.
*Liberty hands him a card*
Craig: Oh, I don't need a card.
Liberty: If it's for a girl, you need one.
Craig: Ya know what...let's make it a dozen.
(Rose-O-Grams are being passed out in class. Paige gets one from Spinner and Ashley gets her dozen)
*Ashley looks back and smiles at Craig, he looks relieved and makes the "rock on" hand gesture to Marco. She turns the card over and it reads: Ash, you rock. XO Craig!*
Paige: OK, um how can you look sad with a dozen roses in your greedy lap?
Ashley: Ash, you rock. XO Craig.
*Ashley looks back at Craig disappointed and his face falls.*

(Spinner and Craig are sitting outside of the school on the grass and Ashley comes over)
Craig: Ash, hey! You like the roses?
Ashley: Of course. Listen, I know you have practice tonight but could you maybe come by first?
Craig: Sure, 7?
*Ashley nods her head and walks away*
Spinner: Dude, you're in. You're in.
Craig: You think?
Spinner: Well, yeah. You gave her roses and now she's inviting you over to her
house. Man, she wants to thank you. For real.
*deleted scene*
(Ashley is at home making a cake for Paige and Craig walks in)
Craig: Hey.
Ashley: Hey.
*He walks over to Ashley and puts his arms around her*
Craig: And how's my favorite pastry chef?
*She pushes his arms away*
Ashley: Don't, OK? I asked you here because I think we should talk.
Craig: Every guy's favorite words.
Ashley: Sometimes...I don't think you feel the same way I do...about us.
Craig: What are you talking about? I sent you...
Ashley: Roses. I know and they were beautiful, they really were. But...
Craig: What, but what?
*She pulls out the card and shows it to him*
Craig: Ah, um...look, it's hard for me Ash.
Ashley: I know...and that's why I think we should take a bit of a break. Go practice, OK? I'll see you at school.
(Craig is upset about Ashley and takes it out on the band (after a really hilarious scene in which Spinner throws a drumstick at Marco and it hits Craig right smack in the forehead just as he's walking in) Jimmy and Spinner leave the garage, but Marco stays behind with Craig)
Craig: She wants to take a break.
Marco: Ouch.
Craig: I don't get it man. I got her roses like you said.
Marco: No, Casanova. I said express your feelings.
Craig: A dozen roses, Marco.
Marco: So? Look, OK...what did you write in the card?
Craig: OK, you are a girl.
Marco: Look, Craig. You obviously love Ash, OK? So just tell her already. I mean it's stupid if...
Craig: It's not...look, I don't want to lose her. I just...I can't...I can't just tell her.
Marco: Well, if...if you don't, then...you've lost her already.
(Ashley is at her locker and sees a note with her name on it taped to it. It reads: MEET ME IN THE GYM. C.)
*Ashley walks into the gym*
Ashley: Craig?
*She sees Craig sitting on the edge of the stage with his guitar in hand*
Craig: No laughing, OK?
*She nods her head and Craig starts singing*
Craig: Somethin bout the way you shine. When the lights go out, I wanna make you mine. Somethin bout the way it seems, you're always here in my dreams. When there's no one there, no I'm not scared but I'm in love...with you.
*Ashley smiles and loves it*
(Craig and Ashley decorating her house for Paige's party)
*Craig holds up some decorations*
Craig: Uh...these are sweet. You have very good taste.
*She hugs him*
Craig: What'd I do?
Ashley: Do you want to stay over?
Craig: What?
Ashley: Tonight, after everybody leaves...us, music, my bed.
Craig: Are you serious?
Ashley: Completely.
*Both have very goofy, but excited looks on their faces*

(Craig and Ashley are preparing for Paige's party and Toby and JT are there)
*Craig grabs some cheetos from a bowl JT is carrying*
JT: Somebody's in a cheesy good mood.
Craig: Well...all thanks to Toby's sister.
Toby: Barf.
*Ashley walks up*
Ashley: OK, I want you guys upstairs before anyone sees you.
JT: Why? Paige is my friend, OK? Calm down. Toby can go upstairs.
Toby: I'm not going upstairs.
*Toby and JT go get the door while Ashley and Craig try to untangle the decorations*
Ashley: If I can't even get them to listen, how am I supposed to get everyone out by 1?
Craig: Oh, I'll make sure everybody leaves...by 9.
*deleted scene*
(Everyone is ready to surprise Paige when she walks in. Craig and Spinner are hiding under a table)
*Craig looks at his watch*
Spinner: Sorry, am I keeping you from something?
Craig: Tonight, after everybody leaves...guess who's staying over?
Spinner: Shut up!
Craig: Yep, believe it...just a few hours.
Spinner: Holy...
(Craig and Ashley go outside to talk after she finds out that Craig told Spinner about them going to have sex)
Ashley: You told him?
Craig: Whoa...it;s just Spin being an idiot.
Ashley: We haven't even had sex yet and you're going around bragging.
Craig: I told one friend. That's not exactly going around.
Ashley: I thought this meant something to you?
Craig: What are you talking about?
Ashley: This was supposed to be a private thing between us.
Craig: Well, I only told Spinner because I was happy.
Ashley: Oh, I bet you were. You conned me into thinking that I wanted to have sex with you.
Craig: Wait, I conned you into it?
Ashley: With that stupid lie of a song.
Craig: That wasn't a lie!
Ashley: Wrong. You don't know how to say it, Craig because you don't really love me.
*They stare at each other for a while and then Craig walks away*
(Manny and Craig are talking outside of school, well Manny is talking or rather whining about how she called Craig a million times but he didn't call her back, and Ashley interrupts. BTW, this is after Craig and Manny have sex)
Craig: Look, Manny. I'm not really sure what happened...
Ashley: Hey. Um...Manny, could I talk to Craig for a minute?
*They don't wait for an answer. They just walk away from Manny as she stares at them all freakishly*
Ashley: Paige and I had a long talk after you left and I am so sorry. I completely overreacted.
Craig: Ashley...
Ashley: Look, I know what you meant about this not being easy...and if you'd be willing to give me one more chance.
Craig: You want me back?
Ashley: More than anything.
*She hugs him*
Ashley: Thank you so much. I love you.
*Manny is watching (yep, still) this scene unfold and almost starts crying*
Craig: I love you too.
