High Fidelity Part II
(Ashley is back at Degrassi and Ellie spots her, running down some stairs to give her a hug)
Ellie: Ash! Some best friend. You couldn�t have e-mailed?
Ashley: What and ruin the surprise? You look amazing El!
Ellie: Likewise. Who else got to see you so far?
Ashley: Most of the old gang. Uh Jimmy, Paige, Hazel, no sign of Craig though.
Ellie: He�s in Vancouver recording the big solo record extravaganza.
*She smiles really sweetly, clear that she's happy for him*
Ashley: Really? Wow. I guess I knew he was always destined for greatness.
Ellie: Don�t be so sure. He�s dating Manny.
*Now she makes a disgusted face (lol, yeah i did too)*
Ashley: Ew. That makes me vaguely itchy.
Ellie: Me too. Of course it could just be label chafe. New shirt and all. So how�s Alistair,
aka Ali, aka your London lad?
Ashley: It was good and then it was bad and then it was over. How about you?
Ellie: Oh I�m crushing on someone as usual, but um it�ll never happen�as usual.
(At the graduation ceremony)
*Ashley walks up to Ellie, grinning, and gives her a hug. Ellie also smiles and hugs her back, then turns to spot Craig
across the way. Ashley also turns, still smiling. Craig smiles back (at both girls I assume) and waves. Ellie's smile fades
and she looks down, Ashley turns and sees Ellie's face...her smile now also fading, glances back once more towards Craig,
then she too looks down*
