| Okay, I will start out with a few observations. A lot of people on the internet hate the rape storyline. I myself find this story unclear. The writers started out with a good topic, spousal rape. They just didn't have a clear answer, is he guilty? Then, you have Viki, Todd, and Marty saying that, "No, he couldn't have done it, he loves her." Marty has been gone 7 years and doesn't really know anything about the Todd of today. Todd did try to rape Blair before Starr was born, Marty knows that. Starr saw her mother that night; she was bruised, and looked awful! Yet, Starr treated Blair like dirt. Todd called Blair that night and told her if she called the cops, she'd never see Starr again. I think the writers started it out with the premise that he's guilty, and then changed their minds. One question, what man sleeps with his wife after she has just slept with his nephew? I knew the bump on her head was a sign of things to come. A brain tumor, doesn't explain away the bruises though. I feel for Blair, Kelly couldn't care less about her cousin or the rape. Kelly is jealous, and thinks that she's better than Blair, when she has lied a lot and had an extra- marital affair in Texas. I am surprised after Kelly lied at that press conference that she actually wound up pregnant. |
| Kevin, he is really stuck. Kelly is pregnant and he still has feelings for Blair that is very evident to me. Friday, by Blair's hospital bed, you could really tell that he has genuine feelings for Blair. He bought the Sun, to give to her. This spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Kelly and Todd are desperate for their spouses, who according to spoilers, Kevin and Blair will work together. How many CEO'S work at a newspaper? Kelly and Todd will form an alliance, but will it backfire? Who knows? Maybe Todd will get Blair and the Sun back, then a perfect life....yeah, on a soap keep dreaming!!! |
| Natalie and John, there are sparks, but Cris died in October, that's a little soon but, this is a soap. One day you're a baby, the next year, you're 17.Even though John looks a little old for her, they are good together and would make a nice pair. |
| Michael and Marcie, they are good together and might be what OLTL needs- a couple that actually stay together. They are sweet together and really love each other. |
| Jess and Antonio, their spark is gone. She has been hypnotized by Haver. Antonio has Jamie, and might work better with say, Evangeline. |
| The Lindsay/Rex/Jen thing is gross. I like Lindsay with Daniel. Daniel is going to AA and getting his act together, which is what Lindsay needs. Jen is actually trying to get her grades up, maybe Riley will be a good influence, who knows? |
| Last but not least- David and Dorian. They are hot and are devious, David's kisses killed Betsy. I think Paul will prove a worthy adversary for Betsy's thirty million. River and Adriana's lives are really being messed with, will their romance last? I don't think so. David and Dorian are greedy, so is Paul. The real question is who is Adriana's dangerous Daddy? What math do you use? River is supposed to be 8 if my math is correct; he was born in '96. It is confusing. |
| I really hope some romance is headed for Llanview. I want some desperately for Todd and Blair, they have suffered a lot. They need to get their spark back, and fall in love all over again. I hope you enjoyed my commentary. |
