What are we going to do about days? I hear that they have signed a contract for five more years, so at least they'll be on air,but I'm worried about this summer. Something good has to happen, because the whole Abe/Lexie/Brandon storyline is over this week and Matt Cedeno is headed out the door soon after that. Personally I'm tired of seeing people leave Sami at the Alter, but that's basically what Brandon does. I think that Sami and Lucas are going to get together sometime soon and I do mean soon. This should make for an interesting hour everyday.
But the teen/young adult scene is about to give me a headache. I love Remi, I think they should be on everyday...but the writers don't agree with me. I also think they should make Rex a "normal" person. He needs to stop being so hot and cold all the time and stop-giving Mimi mixed signals. I'm going to give kudos to the staff for creating Cassie's character. I think it's going to be a really challenge with whatever or whoever they put her with. That whole thing about trying to be like and making everyone hate you in the process is always a winner. I'm also curious to find out who the heck are Cassie and Rex's parents and are they twins or not.
What are they trying to do with Shawn, Belle, and Phillip? Is it a triangle or not? Why is Phillip in town? Why don't they have a storyline yet? Don't you hate that, when the writers are just trying to give face time to the actors but don't bother to write them in a purpose? Kind of like this whole Brady/Chloe/Phillip thing. Everybody knows Chloe leaves next month. How and why, we really don't care. But what makes me raise and eyebrow is why they are even attempting to attempt a triangle when the girl is going to be gone. Broe fans couldn't even enjoy their fast engagement, because we knew that they going to even get a proper break-up before they "almost got married". I'm just confused with where the show is going. All these "big" storylines seem to all lead to nothing. Plus, the ones that might have potential are only on screen once a week.
Days Of Our Lives writer's next task: Making Mimi an everyday player.
