Krista was my niece. She was a spirit soaring, ever full of life and ever full of compassion. Her life was far too short, but her memories will go on forever. She left a trail of happiness on every path she traveled, and a bright light shining in the darkness for those of us left behind. You will never know what having you in my life has meant to me Kris, your laughter echoes in my thoughts, your warm and beautiful face will be forever etched in my mind. Rest beautiful soul, your struggle here is over. The peace you sought is now yours.

the disease which ended your life is like a cancer to me in so many ways.
We do not have the answers for why This Disease invades us
and we do not have a cure for solving it.
It is like a parasite which forever spreads
and invades every part of our being,
