Memorial Comment:
My husband Joe was so full of love and kindness. He was never self-seeking,
but always family-oriented. He was my helpmate, my best friend, a kindred
spirit...my soulmate. My heart has been ripped out from me with his dying. The
flame that once burned inside of me is only a flickering ember. I feel so lost
without him. Our dreams together have been crushed. However, I will hold fast to
our memories. I am thankful to have been deeply loved by him and to have had his
guidance in life. He was the best thing that ever happened to me. A gift from
God. He is so greatly missed. I look forward to someday seeing him again...on
the other side.

One of the most endearing names of God is “Abba, Father.” It is a name we come to know and understand when the Holy Spirit comes to live within us. It is the name that a child affectionately uses when he says “Daddy” or “Papa.” It is a name that is unique among family members. It is a name that speaks of trust, intimacy, dependency, and identity. It is from the father/child relationship that a child receives security, courage, confidence, direction, and worth.
Thank you dear Joe, for in life providing this deepness in relationship for Jordan and Tyler. Not all fathers ever attain this level of Fatherhood. But you certainly did. You were also a great example of a Godly husband. How very blessed we were to have you. You are greatly remembered this Father's Day and always...
Love, Dawn
