Gary was a truly great human being. His zest for life was contagious and people loved being around him. He always had a kind word and a smile for everyone. Even with his diagnosis of cancer - stage IV - he had made sure that he always thanked all the medical staff for caring for him and told them to beware that he would beat this monster and come and volunteer at the oncology center. He only lived for 2 months after his diagnosis but his spirit lives on in all those that loved him. .
