He was a former soldier,
engaged at 48 years of age
in a war with aggressive Prostate Cancer,
that he could not win.
His
battles bought him more time.
He fought hard and bravely.
He left this world with dignity and honor.
His concern and love was always expressed for those he had to leave
behind,
his Mother,sister, neices, nephews, cousins.
For his wife,
daughters and his little grandaughter.
I know he walks beside them even now,
for he loved them all so.

Soldier's Prayer
God Bless You Bru,
May you live in the house of the Lord
Forever........
He loved his country and his flag but most of all loved You
Faith friends and family were the things that he held dear
Sometimes the days were long Lord, but he knew You were near.

Lord You sent Your Son and with His life He paid
For each and every sin and all mistakes we've made
He granted us eternal life with the blood He shed
As He suffered on the cross with thorns upon His head.
And though we know that those we love now abide with you
Please grant us all serenity to try and make it through
For grief is a journey Lord difficult and long
Please help us to be faithful. Please help us to be strong
Forgive us for our sins Dear Lord, the big ones and the small
And help us to prepare to heed Heaven's call
Let us all remember that He prepared a place
And one day reunited we will stand in Your Grace
