Club Party Series

I just found this set of pictures floating around on my computer. Thought I share:
My father loves to give parties. He's been the Social Chair at his club ever since I was a kid, which basically means he gets to throw all of the parties. And his club seems to throw parties for just about any occasion-- engagements, retirements, promotions, anniversaries, birthdays, the sun coming up, whatever. He threw one party back in April at our house for a member of his club that just got divorced. I told you, almost any occasion! It was actually a pretty fun party. I hadn't been to one since I turned 21st back in December, so it was a different experience actually drinking with my dad's friends.
Some of the members of his club are very attractive. It's basically a networking/professional club, so the members are all Silicon Valley upper-management types that know how to dress very well. And, well, let's just say it wasn't too difficult convincing them to take off their shoes after a few drinks-- to keep the carpets from getting dirty. I was a naughty boy that night with an open-minded, 26-year-old VP of Operations, but I'll have to write a story for the "Stories" section when I get a chance to do the experience justice. (Whew, I said fifty Hail Marys the next morning for that one!)
Anyway, I usually throw away or donate socks that have holes in them or that are getting too thin around the soles, but I can never seem to get rid of this pair. I remember wearing them during my sophomore year in high school, so they must be at least four years old. I like 'em!A thousand boys could never reach you.
How could I have been the one?
