| This gun was developed in the early 1990s, reverse engineered from a US 203mm M110 self-propelled howitzer. Norinco developed a complete line of projectiles to go with this weapon and attempted to market it to no avail. According to Norinco this is the most powerful 203mm gun in service today. I don't believe any of these have made it into PLA service, rather, it appears that this towed version may have only been developed to test the gun prior to mounting it on the tracked chassis.
