A MESSAGE FROM... OUR WORSHIPFUL MASTER...
Brethren,
It is almost time for our Annual Awards Dinner, which will be held on November 15, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. in the lodge dining room. Make plans to attend and show your appreciation for the members who have worked so hard to make this a successful year. Call Brother Elbert Martz, phone 837-4579 and make your reservations.
Our official visit of the Grand Lecturer will be held on October 13, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. Dinner will be at 6:00 P.M. The other lodges of the Temple will join us for this visit. All officers, card holders, and past masters need to attend as it will raise our score. This will be Brother James Hurt's last visit as Grand Lecturer, so come and thank him for all his hard work.
I am sorry that several brothers have not paid their dues and now is the time we have to charge them with non-paymnet of dues. If you are unable to pay your dues, please let us know and we will remit them for you. You will have until the stated meeting on November 6, 2003 to pay them.
Remember when you became a mason you became a member of the Whole Masonic Family. Join us and show your support for your family.
Faternally,
Swayne W. Merrell, WM

| | Craftsman Club News
The Craftsman Club needs you! Recently we have been blessed with new brothers joining our great fraternity. I will never forget being brought to light and seeing a room full of brothers. With all of the new work before us, I would ask that everyone who is able please join us at the Craftsman Club. This way we will be able to demonstrate to our newly made brothers how much they are appreciated and how interested we are in seeing them continue the path they have started. The Craftsman Club meets Every Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M., and I beleive it to be vital to the future of Masonry.

| | From the Secretary's Desk
The year is drawing near and we have done some good work. We still need more brothers to come to the Lodge and participate in the degree work. We have several brothers who have received their Entered Apprentice and Fellow Craft degrees and are studying and learning the work in order to advance. It would be nice to have a few more of our brothers available to work in these degrees. I know some of you have to work and other commitments, but please try to take a little time to support the Lodge. Don't forget to make reservations for the Awards Dinner, November 15, 2003 at 7:00 P.M. We would love to see you and your Lady there. We will be serving steak so make your reservations early so we will know how many to buy. Elbert phone 837-4579. |
