A MESSAGE FROM...
OUR WORSHIPFUL MASTER...

Brethren,
          Our Lodge is experiencing new growth, not only by men receiving the three degrees, but by those who are seeking to transfer to our lodge.   During the month of May we are planning at least three FC degrees as well as an EA degree.   Our annual Memorial Day Breakfast will not have a Master Mason Degree, but will have a FC Degree instead.   Breakfast will begin at 8:00 am, rather than 7:00.   We hope to have a good crowd for this event.   The annual picnic is scheduled for June 16, at the same place as last year.   Get your reservations in now so that we can be sure to have enough food.   Call the Secretary at 327-9063.

Saturday, June 16, 2001, DeSoto Lodge will host our annual Family Picnic.   Be sure to get your reservation in by calling 327-9063 now.   Don't wait and miss the opportunity to meet with other members of the Lodge.   The address is 9428 Old Brownsville Road - Memphis Sport Shooting Association.   Reservations required and none accepted after Tuesday, June 12, 2001!
 

 

Don't forget the H C 'Pappy' Warner Charity Fund.   If you can spare something for it, it will be used for the purpose of providing assistance to 'Worthy Distressed Brothers and their Families'.   Remember your first Masonic duty: to help, aid, and assist.   Any amount will do!   Thanks to those who have already contributed.

EA - 5/10 (7 PM): FC - 5/17 (7 PM): FC - 5/26 (8 AM Breakfast - Degree to follow).

Work day has been set for Saturday, May 19, 2001, at 9:00 AM.   We need all the help we can get to do some cleaning and minor repairs to the Temple Building.   The Temple Board has begun to have some of the walls painted and other work is projected, including the updating of the kitchen.   With YOUR help, we can get this work done much sooner.   See you there!!!
