Craftsman Club News I would like to take this opportunity to thank those brothers who regularly attend the Craftsman Club. I would like to encourage everyone to come that is able. We have combined forces with Memphis 118 in order to assist in learning the degree work. I know as a young mason myself, I enjoy being able to learn from those knowledgeable Brethren and also help with the younger Brethren. The instruction you could receive or give is vital to the future of Freemasonry. |

Sick and Visitation
We are sorry to report Brother Calvin Jones King entered the Celestial Lodge above on December 18, 2002. Mr. Curtis DeWayne Phillipy, father of Brother Curtis Phillipy and father-in-law of Brother Tim Cook, Sr, P.M., suffered a stroke and is in Baptist Hospital East. Ms Marilyn White, sister of Maugerite Wilkinson, passed away on March 1, 2003 and Ms Lucille Shackleford, her other sister, is in I.C.U. in Madison County Tennessee. Mrs Juanita Wadley, mother-in-law of Brother Dennis Pope, is in Baptist Hospital East. Mrs Shirley Downs, wife of Brother Jack Downs, fell and struck her head and is recovering at home. Our prayers are extended to these families and their love ones. If you know of anyone sick or any deaths please contact our Chaplin, Brother Byron Wilkinson at 386-9914. |
The winner of the $50.00 gift certificate to Lowe's was Brother David Johnson. The name of Brother Thomas Adolph Rodgers was drawn for the $150.00 cash prize. Brother Rodgers was not present to claim the prize, therefore the $150.00 will carry over to the April Stated Meeting which will be valued at $200.00. The winners of the consolation prizes were: Brother Elbert Martz and Mrs Reba Brown. Our next Stated Meeting will be on April 3, 2003. We will be serving ham. Bring a dish and come join us. |
From the Secretary's Desk I want to thank all the Brothers who have paid their dues for the Year 2003. We still have a few Brothers that have not paid their dues for the Year 2003. Second notices will be mailed soon. If you have not paid your dues for 2003, please mail them and save the Lodge the cost of mailing a second notice. Remember if there is any reason you can not pay your dues, contact me and let me know; and the Lodge will remit your dues for you. We value you as a Brother and do not want to loose you as a Brother. We know that sometimes a medical condition or loss of work can place us in a position where we need a little help. That's the reason the H.C. "Pappy" Warner Fund was created.
If anyone has any information about the following Brothers, please contact me. I have no address or phone number on any of them.
We had a great time at the Valentine's Dinner. We hope our next dinner will be as successful as this one. April 26, 2003 is the date of the dinner honoring our Fifty-year Members and Past Masters. |
Brother Tim Cook, Sr. was activated and is currently serving a tour of duty at the United States Pentagon. We ask you keep him in your prayers, as well as, all the other men and women on duty in various places around the world. We also ask you to pray for our leaders and that they make the correct decisions that are best for our country and the world. |
Craftsman Club will meet every Tuesday night at 7 PM for study and Ritual work.
