A MESSAGE FROM...
OUR WORSHIPFUL MASTER...

Brethren,
On May 24th we had our Memorial Day Breakfast followed by a Fellow Craft Degree.   The food, fellowship and the degree were great.   Thanks to everyone that participated.
Our Annual Picnic/Fish Fry will be June 21st.   The location had to be changed from Shelby Farms to the Memphis Sports Shooting Assocation at 9428 Old Brownsville Road because space was not available.   Bring the family and friends for lots of fun and food.   We will have hamburgers and hot dogs for the children and those who do not care for fish.   We will have a Moon Walk for the kids and there is a small lake for the kids to fish.   (See map for directions)
The Lodge has received several petitions this month for the degrees along with several for plural. dual and affiliations.   We are going to need the assistance of any brother that can attend the meetings and work a small part of the degrees.   Please come join us on Tuesday night for Craftsman Club, practice and learn a small part.   Remember when you joined the Lodge and the impression it left on you when you saw how many brothers were present, this is the same impression we want to leave with these new candidates.
Please call and let us know how many will be attending the Picnic/Fish Fry so we will know how much food to buy.   You may call Brother Elbert Martz at 837-4579, Brother Gene Major at 725-7190 or me at 276-7609.   We are looking forward to seeing you and the families, and friends.

                                                                                  Faternally,
                                                                                  Swayne W. Merrell, WM

Craftsman Club News

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support of the Craftsman Club.   The Craftsman Club meets every Tuesday at 7:00 P.M.   I would like to encourge everyonethat is able to come.   In the coming month we will have four new candiates joining our Great Fraternity.   In order to insure they have good degrees, it is important that we have every Brother, who is able, to come and teach and learn the degree work.
                                                                                                            Ryan Carver, SW

From the Secretary's Desk

Second Notices for 2003 dues are out.   If you have not paid your dues for this year please mail them.   It cost the Lodge money to send out second and final notices, and then summons and suspension letters.   Save the Lodge that expense and please pay your dues on time.

If you know someone that is unable to pay their dues let me know and we will remit the dues for that person.   We value you as brothers and are willing to assist in any way possible.

We have been fortunate to have received several petitions for the degrees this month.   We hope you will attend Craftsman Club on Tuesday nights and help us in degree work.   Remember each of these candidates deserve a fine degree, just as each of us received.   Come join us and support your Lodge.

Serving Our Country

Although the war in Iraq has been declared over, we still have soldiers killed while serving our country, so we can enjoy the freedom we have had for many years.   We ask that you say a prayer for these fine brave men and women, and ask that they may return home safe.
