| Do you really read your Digest, or is it just another piece of 'Junk Mail' that is received, but not really wanted? We still have not received the information requested in the May Digest from many of our members. If no more read the Digest than those who responded, this year may be the last of our Digests! What is your position on the Digest? Is it worth the effort and money? |
We are sorry to report the death of the wife of one of our members. Mrs. Wilma Cole, wife of Brother Sidney Cole passed away in June. The Lodge extends our sympathies to Brother Cole and his family.
Degree work for DeSoto is progressing right along this year. We have had more degrees during the first six months than we have had in several years, and hopefully the trend will continue. We have raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason, several Brothers who have shown interest in the continued work of the Lodge. Welcome, Brothers.
Saturday, June 16, 2001, DeSoto Lodge hosted our annual Family Picnic. We did not have the number present that we would have liked, but everyone who attended left with plenty of prizes and no one left hungry.
Don't forget our sick and shut-in Brothers and their families, and make personal contact if you can. |
Craftsman Club will meet every Tuesday night at 7 PM for study and Ritual work.
