Sick and Visitation
We are sorry to report Brother John Edward Pierce entered the Celestial Lodge above on December 29, 2002. The mother-in-law of Past Master Richard Perkins, Mrs. Celeste Gridley, is home from the hospital recovering with heart problems. Our prayers are extended to these families and their love ones. If you know of anyone sick or any deaths please contact our Chaplin, Brother Byron Wilkinson at 386-9914. |
Our next Stated Meeting will be March 6, 2003. We will have chicken and dressing for the main course. Bring a dish and enjoy the fellowship. The ladies are always invited and encouraged to attend. This is a time for the ladies to get to know each other and show support for the men of the lodge. The door prize will be a gift certificate from. |
From the Secretary's Desk We still have a few brothers that have not paid their dues for the year 2003. If there is any reason you can not pay your dues contact me and let me know and the lodge will remit your dues for you. We value you as a brother and do not want to loose you as a brother. We know that sometimes a medical condition or loss of work can place us in a position where we need a little help. That's the reason the H. C. "Pappy" Warner Fund was created. If anyone has any information about the following brothers, please contact me . I have no address or phone number on any of them. Allison D. McAlexander, Elton E. Mills, Franklin Laverne Pierce, Dale Allen Powell and David Herndon Taylor. |
The winner of the $50.00 Visa Gift Certificate at the Feburary Stated Meeting was Brother Rick Perkins. The winner of the $100.00 cash prize was Brother William Speros. Brother Speros was not present to win, so the $100.00 will carry over to the March Stated Meeting making the cash prize worth $150.00. The winners of the consolation prizes were Mrs. Marquarite Wilkinson and Brother Jim Nichols, PM. The March Stated Meeting Door Prize will be a $50.00 Visa Gift Certificate. |
