Brethren, � � � DeSoto Lodge is growing in membership!
� � � In our first month of 2001, we were off to a good start, having passed four fellow craft. � They were Aubrey Stoddard, Jon Stoddard, Tim Cook, Jr and Kelly DeCrow, Jr. � February will be busy as well, with 5 EA Degrees scheduled as well as two Master Masons Degrees. � Two of the EA Degrees will be conferred on Thursday, February 8, and the other three will be conferred on Saturday, February 17. � Breakfast will be served on the 17th at 8:00 AM and the Degrees will follow.
� � � The renewed interest in Freemasonry is not by accident. � Through the lives and actions of our fellow brethren, we are like a billboard on a busy throughfare. � How we look, what we say and by example, we leave an impression. � What a great testimony to masonry, that someone would want to be like you. � Keep up the good work!

Thursday, February 22, 2001, DeSoto Lodge will be conferring the Master Mason Degree on two of our Fellowcraft Brothers. � Come, join us in the conferring of these degrees and enjoy the fellowship of DeSoto Lodge #299.

Are you in possession of a 2001 dues card? � If not, you can obtain yours by remitting your dues to the Lodge at 272 Court Avenue, 38104. � For those few of you who REFUSE to pay without the benefit of a notice, the March Digest will be mailed First Class, with your Digest, a Lodge calendar, and your dues notice. � For the majority, who have already paid, 'Thank you' for your cooperation.
