Craftsman Club News
As always we thank you for your continued support of the Craftsman Club. Fortunately, we have been busy with a rush of new brothers. With this influx of new brothers your help is needed at the Craftsman Club. Whether you could help a new brother learn his lecture or learn a part for the degree work, it would be greatly appreciated. I am grateful for each brother that regularly attends and would like to encourage anyone who is able to come. The Craftsman Club meets every Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. and I believe it to be vital to the future of Masonry

Last month I listed Brother Harry Berry's name in the birthday list and forgot to list him as a Past Master. One of our members pointed my error out to me. This was an over sight on my part. I apologize to Brother Berry, P.M. and hope you had a Happy Birthday. |
Sick and Visitation We regret to report the death of brother Bob DeShields. We offer our sympathy and prayers to his wife, Mae and their family. Mrs Bobbie Ricketts is still at home suffering from a serious illnes. We continue to extend our prayers to her and we wish her a speedy recovery. If you know of anyone sick or any deaths please contact our Chaplin, Brother Byron Wilkinson, P.M. at 386-9914. Brother Wilkinson has been very good about visiting our sick Brothers and their families, and reporting back to the Lodge. |
Brother Bobby O'Neil Glover's name was drawn for the $400.00 door prize. Brother Glover was not present to receive the money, therefore it will carry over to September 4, 2003 Stated Meeting and will be valued at $450.00. Ms. Reva Brown won the $50.00 gift certificate to Home Depot and Brother Amel Peterson and Brother Ryan Carver won the consolation prizes. |
From the Secretary's Desk Brethren, the names of the members that have not paid their dues for 2003 were read out at the August Stated Meeting. If dues are not paid by September Stated Meeting a Statement of Charges will be issued and suspension to follow. Please pay your dues or let us know if you are unable and arrangements will be made to have them remitted by the Lodge. We regret to report the death of one of our Honorary Members, Brother Willie Lyons. Brother Lyons assisted our lodge in the ritual work for many years. We extend our prayers to his family.
Brethren we need more brothers to learn the second and third sections of the ritual work. As our members grow older and we loose them due to sickness and death, we have fewer brothers we can call on to assist in the ritual work. |
Craftsman Club will meet every Tuesday night at 7 PM for study and Ritual work.
