A MESSAGE FROM...
OUR WORSHIPFUL MASTER...

Brethren,
          Sad news comes for our Lodge family at this time, due to the death of Brother Wilbert Lee Dotson, and also the wife of Brother Howard Mitchell, as well as PM Phil Emerick who was an honorary member.   The Lodge extends sympathiesa to both families.   Also there has been several of our Brothers and family members who have experienced illnesses during the past several months.   We do not have all the names, and therefore, we will not try to name all of them at this time, but please remember all those who have been and still are sick in your prayers.
          The officers and those interested in the Lodge will be meeting soon to chart the course for the next year.   If you plan to attend, be sure to contact the Senior Warden or the Secretary so that arrangements will be made.

We have had several Degrees this year, and are preparing for more.   We have a FC Degree scheduled for August 16, 2001, at 7:00 PM.   Cold cuts will be served before the Degree.   Make your plans now to attend and be involved in the work of YOUR Lodge!
 
 

 

Masonic Services were conducted for Brother Wilbert Lee Dotson on Saturday, July 28, with PM Cecil Nappier officiating and PM Harold Ricketts serving as Chaplain.   Several of our Brothers attended.   Condolences to the family.
 

 

Let's not forget those who are sick and shut in.   We have several and to try to name them would cause us to leave some names out and that would possibly cause unkind feelings, so just remember the sick and shut-ins in your prayers.
 

 

Have you made a contribution to the 'Pappy' Warner Memorial Fund?   This fund is for the assistance of 'worthy distressed Brothers and their families' of DeSoto Lodge.   The fund has spent quite a sum lately, and we desperately need some donations for replacement of those funds that have been expended.
 

 

 
Don't forget our sick and shut-in Brothers and their families, and make personal contact if you can.   If you know of any Brother or a family member, who is sick, contact one of the officers and let them know, if you will, please.
