The first a repulsion effect The first level of the ward causes the offending creature to suddenly feel the urge to leave or stop approaching the courtyard. To continue to do so will cost the creature a WP point per turn. The second level of the ward causes 3levels of lethal Dmg per turn, but unsoakable as it keeps approaching. The third level is a repelling wave of force striking the offender for 4pts of Agg. | Class rank and Martial arts Players will wish to know how their characters are ranked ooc for their IC place ment. This is done as a combination of two primary skills and three secondary. The two primary count for the most ; and they are Martial Arts and a Knowledge skill appropriate to the Martial art taken. (IE: Kung Fu, Karate, Judo) This is done to repesent the other part aof martial arts training. History, philosophy and discipline. This additional mental training is what seperates a guy who knows how to punch things from say...Jet Li. The ratings go as follows: MA 5 + MAskill 4-5 + Ath/Dodge/Melee Avg 4= Senior Student MA 4-3 + MAskill 2-3 + Ath/Dodge/Melee Avg 3=Intermediate MA 3-0+ MAskill 1-0 + Ath/Dodge/Melee Avg 2=Beginner Other skills that will be looked at by request are meditation, medicine and philosphy or history. However as a rule ALL students of the kwoon are expected to purchase the knowledge skill Kung Fu. This skill should always be within one rating of your MA score to represent your training. During testing or learning a new MA manuever, it is asked that the character roll a Test with INT+ MAskill vs diff 8. If sucessful, then the new move is aquired. |
