32. Jacob GOODNOUGH ⁽⁵⁾ was born on 2 Jun 1790 in Charlton, Worchester, Mass.. He died about 1867 in Dorchester, Mass.. He was baptised into the LDS church on 3 Feb 1968. He was endowed on 23 Feb 1968 in the Los Angeles, California LDS temple. He was sealed to parents on 13 Dec 1974 in the Los Angeles, California LDS temple. Born in Sutton, Mass, June 20, 1790. On Feb 1, 1797 at the age of seven years in company with Mr eddy started on a journey for Dixfield Maine arrivng Feb 22, 1797. They traveled the entire distance by Ox team (certified by Jacon Nelson Goodnough, Boston July 22, 1863.)

Jacob marreid Hannah Townsend Aug. 11, 1819. Hannah Townsend was born Feb. 24, 1789 at Freeport Maine, she moved to Dixfield Nov 1817. She died N. Jay Mar 26, 1856 age 67.

Jacob died in Dorchuster, Mass at home of his daughter Sarah about 1867, at age 77.

Jacob lived in Dixfield, Maine until he was 19 years, he then moved to Boston. He was a Mason and a Republican. He owned a trucking business at 55 Commerce Street. He was
a past chief patriarch of the Mount Washington encampment of Odd Fellows. A member of the following: Bethesda lodge; Bernice lodge; D.O.R. Daughters of Rebecca; Paul Revere Council; American mechanics and master Teamster's Association Veteran Firemen's Association; Old State Guard; Citizen's Association and a member of St. John's M.E. Church
He was married to Hannah TOWNSEND on 11 Aug 1819 in Jay, Franklin, Maine. He was sealed to spouse on 25 Jun 1988 in the Los Angeles, California LDS temple.

33. Hannah TOWNSEND was born on 25 Feb 1789 in Freeport, Cumberland, Maine. She died on 24 May 1856. !CENSUS:1850 Jay, Franklin, Maine age 59, farmer, birth place not ledagable. Living with wife Hannah age 61. Born Maine and son George E. age 23 born Maine. 5 Children Children were:

ii. Sarah Ann GOODNOUGH was born on 12 Apr 1824 in Dixfield, ME. She died on 1 Feb 1888 in Western, Mass..
iii. George Amory GOODNOUGH was born on 3 Jun 1826 in Jay, Franklin, Maine. He died on 9 Mar 1900 in Jay, Franklin, Maine. IGI
iv. Enos Merril GOODNOUGH was born on 1 May 1823 in Jay, Franklin, Maine. He died in 1828. He was baptised into the LDS church CHILD. IGI
v. Hannah Augusta GOODNOUGH was born on 4 Apr 1829 in Jay, Franklin, ME. She died on 10 Apr 1909.
