With
this image I added a tube of a gal. Then merged
the image and softened it. Then the image was the
perfect candidate for the Deckled
Pencil Tutorial . I followed the tutorial pretty
close but also added some of my own touches.
With
this one the first thing that I did was mask the original
image then flattened it. Then selected the oval copied
and pasted that to a new image. I kept it selected
and did a cutout. For the cut out I did selections/invert
the effects/cutout. Then reversed that same process.
Then I did selections/select all and copied and pasted
that image to the original. Then used the deformation
tool to make the image the proper size to cover the
oval mask. Then merged layers and selected the image

light blue with a cutout. Whew
