We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts. If you have an idea for a
specific article, your best bet is to either call Ginny Stimmel, the editor,
(717- 234-5091, ext 241) and let her know your idea; or send in an outline
along with some photos of the rugs that would accompany your article (we
usually need at least 5-6 images per article.) If Ginny decides this is
something we could use, she would contact you, specify the details (word
count, deadline, etc.) and a formal contract would be sent to you. You
don't mention if you are a rug hooker, but if you read the magazine you will
see that most of the articles are written by the fiber artists themselves.
We do have some free lancers that write about specific teachers or
exceptional projects.
