Lynne Demers is an Artist/Illustrator who was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. There she learned to appreciate the beauty of the people she was surrounded by and also the beauty of the natural world she lived in. Early works consisted of family portraits, landscapes and florals that are still displayed in her parents’ home.

Deciding to add discipline to her craft, she graduated from the Fine Arts Program at Cambrian College in Sudbury. Since then her paintings have been displayed in art galleries throughout Ontario.

The artist now resides near the Kingston/Brockville area, in Southeastern Ontario. She uses a variety of media including watercolor, gouache, acrylic, pastel and pencil. She is frequently hired to paint portraits for weddings, retirement parties, 25th anniversaries, and birthdays. Lynne is also asked to bring old memories back to life, through painting old photographs or scenes of happy occasions.
