Jean-Paul Sartre is probably the best known existentialist philosopher in the world. On this website I going to take a close look at his most accessible work "Existentialism is a Humanism". This short work is actually the transcript of a speech he made at Club Maintenant in Paris. I've chosen this work because it gives us a relatively painless introduction to Sarte's existentialist philosophy.
