| The Best Lesson's Learned This Semester | ||||||||
| This semester in English 111 has been great experience. I felt as a course I learned more then I expected to learn. I came in the class prepared to write massive amounts of papers like previous English course prior but instead we touched on various topics to parenthetical citations and subject verb tenses. We also discuss ways on achieving success such as dealing with situations from a "creator" point of view. | ||||||||
| ��������� ����������I learned three new important things this semester in English 111. I learned that is important to avoid procrastination whenever possible. One of the worst things to do in college itself is procrastination. A person who puts things off is more likely to struggle then a person who does. Another technique I learned this semester is that in order to learn it essential you pay attention. The more you pay attention the easier you can comprehend and pick up on new material or learning skills. One other important trait I learned that never turn down help whenever it's available. Help is available in all kinds of way. Some examples of help include from classmates, teachers, and even tutors. It's much more difficult to succeed on your own then it is with help. | ||||||||
| �������������� Aside from learning new lessons in English 111 I also had to re-learn some important things this semester that I had encountered once again. I learned that there a two types of people a "victim" and a "creator". A victim is a person with a negative attitude or low self-esteem. Victims tend to give up and blame others when their put in difficult situations. A creator is a person who stays positive no matter what type of difficulty or situation their put in. A creator creates and aims for solutions to all their problems. A creator always has a positive attitude which makes them more successful then a victim. This semester no matter how hard of time I was having I never gave up on anything. | ||||||||
| ��������������� Finally, other important things I learned this semester ironically is that I taught myself. I taught myself that even put in the hardest predicament never to turn away from it from like a victim standpoint. I plan to tackle every obstacle I encounter in life and never plan to give in to the situation. Another tactic I taught myself was that in the end it will all be worth it that is why I plan to achieve success after facing as many difficulties as I have to. | ||||||||
| ������������� �I learned a lot this semester from myself and that my education will encompass my dreams to come true that's why it is important to succeed here. What I do here will determine how I will live my life. I feel like every semester will teach me something new. English 111 was a great experience because it went into depth with more then just English but also life. | ||||||||
