THE 'DESH VIBHAGH NO LEKH'

the 'desh vibhagh no lekh' is a document that Lord Swaminarayan Himself dictated (and noted in His presence by Shuk Muni Swami) for the Acharyas and all the followers of the Swaminarayan Sampraday, for the purpose of  establishing the territorial jurisdiction, ownership and duties of the Acharyas of the NarNarayan Dev Gadi (diocese) and the LaxmiNarayan dev Gadi (seat). More importantly for the rest of the Swaminarayan Sampraday followers, Lord Swaminarayan in this document clarifies:

1) that ALL Swaminarayan temples and their incomes and assets should be under NarNarayan Dev diocese (Ahmedabad) or LaxmiNarayan Dev Diocese (Vadtal)...

( NOT under any major temples e.g. NarNarayan Dev, Bhuj  - NB Bhuj is merely a hypothetical example )

2) that in order for their salvation of souls, the Swaminarayan followers should NOT seek refuge under any other spiritual preceptor apart from the Acharyas from the lineage of Dharmadev (Lord Swaminarayan's father)

3) which Acharya to receive initiation from or donate gifts to, in cases of moving jobs or residence from the territory/diocese of one Acharya to the territory of the other Acharya

There are approximately 30 points in the Desh Vibhagh No Lekh, and for the ease of reading we have divided these points into parts 1 and 2. However points 1and 2 are on the next page from where u can proceed to read the rest of the Lekh......    Jai Swaminarayan
