Comment: WIP This is a LotR/Buffy crossover which for now consists of two stories, 'It's never over' and 'It's never over 2'. In this story, Buffy ends up in Middle Earth as a direct consequence of 'the Gift'. As in many other similar crossovers, she becomes a member of the Fellowship. But it is here that it starts to take its own path. Instead of becoming something like a Mary-Sue, taking over the Quest and the story completely, she is merely one of many.
The story follows the books/movies rather closely, but with a few twists due to Buffy's presence. We also get to follow the budding romance between Legolas and Buffy, which while not unimportant does not take up pages and pages of gushing 'I love yous' either. It's rather refreshing.
All in all, this is a wonderful story which keep you wanting more. Do read it if you're even the slightest fond of this kind of plot, for this is great.
Sweethearts by Felicity

Comment: Another story with two parts, this is one of the first I read within the B/A genre and one of my favorites. Incredibly sweet, these two fics take place around Valentine's Day. For two different reasons, two different years, Xander and Buffy cannot speak that day. This results in the funny solution that they use candy with text to communicate with others.
These stories are the ultimate fluffy get-together stories, featuring the couples of Xander/Cordy and Buffy/Angel. With a very interesting plot, they bring warm feelings to your heart.
the Golden Queen by Damia

Comment: Now this is a true master piece in my opinion, and one of the best stories I've read in the Buffyverse. As I'm not very good with summaries, I borrowed the author's own. "Buffy, after being confronted and told of the Day That Wasn't, leaves Earth to fulfill her destiny. Four years later she must return to Earth with her and Angel's daughter, when the girl is threatened and Earth is the only place she is safe."
This story is a multipart with eleven parts and two vignettes where we get to follow the lives of Buffy and her daugher. It's an exciting story with action as well as angst, drama and romance. A very compelling read, this story has to be read.
'The Return', 'the Beginning' and 'the End' by the Little Slayer

Comment: Most possibly the best Buffy stories I've ever read. An unfinished trilogy featuring a Angelus/Buffy/Angel, beginning at the end of 'Becoming'. Wonderfully written with 'evil' characters that is actually nice. For those frightened by a permanent WIP, it's possible to read only the first two, but please do read it. This is a real treat with a lot up surprises, humor, romance and angst. Fabulous.
Phoenix Burning by Yahtzee

Comment: Long B/A fic set in the future, an alternate end to the Gift. Buffy wakes up to a world most different to the one she last was in, one filled with intrigues and backstabbing. Not to mention one where the fate of her lover depends on her.
A lovely, slightly angsty stories that has won several prizes, rightfully so. Enough said.

Comments: A HP/BtVS featuring the couple of Harry/Buffy. Not to mention that the timeline is correct for once. I'm impressed... : ) Buffy starts to chat with a boy over the 'net.
