Fat, is Where It Was...
A hundred lifetimes ago,
corpulence might signify
beauty, status or wealth
rather than imperiled health.
Now? If the pelt isn't svelte,
it won't be fondled or felt.
Or favored or savored, or melt
any hearts of upstarts or tarts.

Far from their minds, raging apparitions
of adversity... whirling and swirling in
backrooms full of brimstone and smoke.
