| September 18th - ASFA Region 6 Invitational (lure coursing) - Venus won 1st | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Venus won the breed (for a 3pt. major) and then went on to win Best in Field (increasing her point win to a 5pt. major) running against an afghan and a whippet! On Sunday, Venus again won breed for a 4pt major. Both days, Emma took second place in Open winning a single point. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 31st - Beaver County KC (Canfield, OH) - Venus took Reserve Winners on | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| July 24th & 25th - Lure coursing, Chesapeake Bay Saluki Club - in her first lure | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| coursing event, Venus won the Mister Grand Prix Challenge Cup for pharaohs, running against very strong competition. She also earned 20pts and both 1st placements needed towards her ASFA FCh title. Corkey took second place in the Open stake both days. And on Sunday, Emma took 1st place in the FCh stake and went on to win the breed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| July 3rd - Ann Arbor KC - Emma wins the breed under judge Patricia Gellerman. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| June 26th & 27th - LGRA w/ Northcoast Coursing Club - first time straight | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| racing for Corkey and only the second weekend racing for Emma. On Saturday, Emma took second place and Corkey third out of four pharaohs. Sunday, Emma was First and Corkey tied for third out of five. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Open stake and BOB, finishing her ASFA FCh title. Corkey was second in Open on Sat. and first in Open on Sun. Athena took first place in the FCh stake Sat., and was second to Emma in the stake on Sunday. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| May 2 - AKC lure coursing with OKIGO - Emma won the Open stake & BOB | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| for 2 pts. Athena took 2nd out of 3 in the Open stake (over a multi-best in field winning youngster). Emma went on to compete in Best in Field. Six hounds ran: Emma ran against a whippet and an afghan. In the other course was a basenji, a greyhound, and a scottish deerhound. And, Emma was awarded the BIF! This gave her a 5 pt. major towards her FC title, and her second BIF. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| April 3 & 4 - ASFA lure coursing with OKIGO - Venus earned her JC title and | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| on Sunday certified for ASFA coursing; Saturday Corkey certified for ASFA coursing and on Sunday, his first time ever competing, he beat Emma for BOB; Emma won BOB Saturday, and on Sunday took second in the Open class (leaving her just 1 point shy of earning her FCh title). | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
