Boss to the Rescue!

One day Hamtaro and Bijou were walking in the woods looking for acorns to
bring back to the clubhouse. Bijou stopped and looked up at the beautiful
colors of the fall around them and sighed. "It is beautiful here don't you
think so Hamtaro?" Hamtaro stopped and looked around too. "Yeah, it sure is,"
he then went up to Bijou took her hand and they started off looking for the
acorns again.

Meanwhile..

Boss sat at the clubhouse with the other ham-hams. The girls were making a
craft and most of the boys were playing cards. Boss wasn't though. He was
thinking to himself what's taking them so long? They should have been back
with those acorns ages ago!

Back in the woods

"Hamtaro I have so many acorns can you help me with some of them?" asked
Bijou. "Sure!" replied Hamtaro as he ran up to catch the acorn that rolled
off the top of Bijou's pile. Bijou smiled, "Thank you so much Hamtaro!"
Hamtaro smiled back, "No problem. Anytime!"

When they got back to the clubhouse with the acorns and everyone was eating
Boss took Hamtaro into his private room. "What took so long?!?!" Boss
screamed at Hamtaro, "It should have taken you 10 minutes to get the acorns!
It took you 30!" He looked at Hamtaro angrily, "But Boss we can't tell time,
we're hamsters!" replied Hamtaro, "Well," he takes a breath and calms down,
" just be faster next time," Hamtaro nodded suddenly afraid.

The next day

"Get the acorns and bring them back! No stalling this time!" yelled Boss down
the hall as Bijou and Hamtaro went to go get acorns, "Ok!" replied Hamtaro

As they walked through the woods they heard a noise in one of the bushes
nearby. Bijou went over to investigate and a cat popped out! It took Bijou
and ran off. Hamtaro tried to follow but tripped and realized he was too slow
so he went back to the clubhouse o tell the others.

Hamtaro burst in the door panting and Sandy came up, "Woah like what happened
dude?" she asked. He said one word, "Bijou," and then fell to the floor. Boss
looked alarmed and while the other hams fussed over Hamtaro he went out to
the woods and started calling her name. When there was no reply he began to
sniff. "Hiff, hiff, hiff, hiff" Then when her got her scent he began to run
as he also recognized the scent of cat. "Don't worry Bijou I'm coming!" He
imagined Bijou lying as a pile of bones in front of a cat if he was to late
but then he smiled when he thought of her smiling face thanking him if he
saved her.

As he walked into the bush that the cat lived in he spotted some fish bones
and ran up to them. "Oh no! I'm too late!" Then he sniffed them. "Hey these
are fish bones not hamster bones!" Then he heard someone talking and walked
into a part of the bush and saw a cat sitting and looking down at Bijou
trying to hit her with it's paw as Bijou ran back and forth screaming for
help. "Don't worry Bijou I'm here!" He called to her. Then he went up behind
the cat and hit it's tail with his shovel. The cat shrieked and ran off. Then
Boss stood there waiting for Bijou to come to him and when he thought she was
running to him she ran right past him, he looked behind him and saw her
hugging Hamtaro who was standing there with the rest of the ham-hams.

Bijou wiped her eyes for she had been crying and she looked at Hamtaro and
smiled. "I'm so glad nothing happened to you Hamtaro! And if it weren't for
Boss," she turns to look at him, "I wouldn't have escaped! Thank you so much
both of you!" Then they all went back to the clubhouse happy... well maybe not
exactly all of them were happy because Boss was mad because Hamtaro and Bijou
held hands the whole way back....
