A NEW HAM-HAM!!
"O-my-Gosh who is this??" asks Pashmina.
"Owkwee??"
"This" says Hamtaro stepping forward and pointing to the new black ham-ham with a lightning bolt running down his forehead "is Zippy!!".
"Hi" exclaims Pashmina stepping forward to shake Zippy’s paw "I’m Pashmina!!".
"Owkwee!!"
"And this is Penelope!!".
"H-h-hi" says the strange new hamster turning red.
"Lets get some things straight here Zappy...!!" Dexter almost yells.
"Zippy" pitches in Hamtaro.
"Pashmina is MINE!!".
"I’m not any ones-I’m my own hamster!!" Pashmina states the facts.
"She sure is!!" Howdy gets involved "But if she wasn’t she would be MINE!! Isn’t that right Pashmina my love??"
"Ummm"
"Ha-you see that?? She prefers me!!"
"Does not"
"Does so"
"Does not"
"Does so!!"
"Does not"
"Does so"
"Does-"Howdy gets cut off by Oxnard and Boss saying at the same time-"When’s lunch??"
"Stop it all of you!!" Hamtaro screams like none of the ham-hams had ever heard before.
"Owkwee Owkwee Owkwee!!" Penelope starts to cry.
"Ohhhhhh, Hamtaro you made her cry!!" says Pashmina-and softer to Penelope "Oh poor baby-it is okay Penelope I’m sure Hamtaro doesn’t mean it!!"
"That’s right I don’t-I’m just fed-up with all this arguing I guess I got carried away with myself"
Boss says "Hamtaro is right this is no way to behave when we have company!!"
"Ahhh!!" says Oxnard suddenly "I’m sorry Zippy we didn’t even finish introducing ourselves!!"
"Oh it’s okay I figured out most of your names!!" Zippy replies to Oxnard. "This is Boss, Hamtaro, you are Oxnard, that’s Penelope ,and this is aaa...Pashminaaaaaa."he drags the name out so it sounds long and beautiful, and then blushes a little.
"I think some one has a little crus-"Hamtaro cuts himself off knowing the uproar he would cause if he said "crush" out loud. "What I mean is I should get going, Laura will be home from school soon!!"
"Yeah Conna too" Oxnard adds.
"What’s your owner’s name Zippy??" asks Pashmina blushing .
"Owkwee??"
"My owner’s name is Lee-Ann, she has big shiny things on her teeth that she calls braces!!"
"Wow!!" all the amazed Ham-Hams say at exactly the same time!!
"Can we see Lee-Ann some time??" asks Hamtaro.
"I would really like to!!" says Boss liking Zippy a lot more, knowing he likes Pashmina (he doesn’t want any one to steal his Bijou!!).

* * * * *
The next day at Boss’ club house, "So Zippy, you like Pashmina don’t you??" asks Dexter.
"Wellllll" Zippy hesitates.
"I knew it!! I’ll wring your little furry neck!!"
"Not if I get to him first!!" screams Howdy.
"Calm down guys!!" Hamtaro says, coming out of the next room holding Bijou’s hand, but quickly lets go.
"Ves please calm down" says Bijou "Vhy do you always fight over her vhen she vonly likes vone hamster here??"
"Who, who, who??" all the ham-hams at once.
"I’m vot telling...okay, okay!! It’s some vone in this room, and it’s none of the doofuses fighting over her!!"
"That means it is either Stan or Jingle!!" Hamtaro says excitedly.
Just then Pashmina walks in holding Penelope’s hand.
"Move aside short stuff and let the master get some action!!" Stan rushes over to Pashmina and pushes Penelope out of his way.
"Vhy I never said it vas you!!"
"I know I know!!" Hamtaro jumps up and down "she likes Jingle!!"
"H-how could you Bijou??" Pashmina cries and runs out of the room.
"Vait Pashmina" but she has already run out of the room after her.

* * * * *
Outside the clubhouse:
"Ve did good-no??"
"Vonderful-I mean wonderful, you were great-now no one will ever suspect I like Zippy!!"

* * * * *
Back inside:
"Ahhh" Zippy stutters, "I’ve got to go home" and he walks out the door.

Zippy sat in his cage all alone thinking about Pashmina loving Jingle and says with a sort of moan, "Why did she have to fall for Jingle right when Lee Ann moved me here?? I wish I could of stayed with all of my ham-ham friends!!"

* * * * *
Pashmina hurried to Zippy’s house. It turns out that he lives right next door. "bada,bada,bada," she muttered as his house came into view. She went to the window where his cage sat. "Uhhh, Zippy? Are you there?" She called with all her might. Sure enough Zippy appeared, and was very surprised. " Pashmina, I’m coming down okay?" In few minutes Zippy was in front of Pashmina.
" Zippy, there’s something I want to tell you..." Pashmina started off, avoiding eye contact. "See I sort of, well, like you, a lot." She cried, glad that she had said it, but feared what he might reply. "Kushi Kushi".

* * * * *
"Shhhhh!! They vill hear!!" Bijou whispered to Hamtaro.
"Wellll sorrrry!!" Hamtaro responded, "but this bush is uncomfortable!! "why couldn’t we of hidden around the side of house??"
"Because ve vouldn’t have had...as you say...enough time??"
"Vell ahhh-well I just wanted to see if Zippy was all right". Hamtaro defends himself.

Hamtaro and Bijou rush back to the clubhouse to tell the others what they just heard.
"Don’t tell anyone what we told you about Zippy and Pashmina!!:"
"Ves do not tell anyone vat ve said!!"
"Okay Okay we won’t say a word!!" Boss is stunned at what they told him. "I just don’t understand, why did she say she liked Jingle??"
"Ve said that so you vouldn’t think she liked Zippy.
* * * * *
A few minutes later Pashmina and Zippy walk into the club house(holding hands!!)
"We have something to tell you all...Zippy and I are uhhh..." Pashmina informs them.
"We know already, Bijou and I heard you guys talking" Hamtaro tells her "I’m sorry"
"It’s okay Hamtaro Pashmina and I dont mind"
"Good then we can all live happily ever after-just like Cin-dee-rel-a in Laura’s school play!!" Hamtaro says excitedly. "Well all except Dexter and Howdy "looking over at them banging their heads on the wall.
