One summer morning the ham hams were lying a round the clubhouse, unable to think of what to do. " How about we go to the Fun Park ? " Panda suggested. " Nah, " said Howdy " We been there a thousand times all ready."  " How about the Cherry Blossom Park?" suggested Dexter. " Boring !" After what seemed to be forever, Hamtaro suddenly suggested, " I know ! What about the lake?" "YAY!!!" shouted all the ham hams. Off they went. When they arrived at the lake, they sat down to lunch. After lunch they hung about the lake, enjoying the serenity. Bijou was looking at the water. " Oh, it is so beautiful!" she exclaimed. " I love the way it sparkles." She decided to get a closer look. Unfortunately, it was too close. Suddenly, she fell in. " HELP ME!!!!!" Bijou yelled as she sank ever deeper. " I can't swim!" Hamtaro was basking in the sun nearby. Since he was the closest one to Bijou, he responded fastest. " HAMTARO TO THE RESCUE!!!!!" he cried as he made a valiant leap for the drowning Bijou. "GROOPA!!!" In less than 5 minutes they were back on dry land. " You saved me," Bijou gasped. " How can I ever thank you, Hamtaro?" Hamtaro thought for a moment. " Would you like to watch the sunset with me?" he asked. " But of course," she replied. So, as the sky turned orange red, Hamtaro and Bijou sat at the edge of the water, at a safe distance of course. " Hamtaro, " Bijou said looking softly into the brave ham's eyes " I love you" " And Bijou" Hamtaro said, with the same love-struck look " I love you, too."  As they continued the soft, loving stare, they moved closer and closer to each other, until finally, they locked into a kiss.
