    Chapter I-- Human
 

    "Lara, we are going to the amusement park today! You can bring one friend
with you, if you wish." Lara's mother told her at about 9:30 at breakfast one
summer day.
"But no boys!" Lara's father added strangely.
"Yes! Thank you, mom, dad! I know just who I'll invite!" she says excitedly,
and jumps up from the table and rushes out the dining room. About a step
after she has left her room, she hears her father calling her. She leans
back, so only her head is showing in the doorway, and it is tilted a bit.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" her father asks her, hoping for her to ask
to be excused from the table.
"Oh, yeah! Mom, what is Kana's new number? I just can't remember it no matter
how hard I try!" both of her parents fall onto the floor anime-style, their
legs up in the air.
"I tried, dear." Her father says to her mother, sighing.
"123-4567(I couldn't think of anything else, sorry!)." Lara's mother replied
to Lara, still on the floor.
"Thanks!" Lara says, and then hurries to the phone. Lara dials the number.
"Hello, Kana? Hi! No, mom had to remind me of it." She says, referring to the
phone number. She laughs at something Kana says, and then invites her to the
amusement park.
"Sorry, Lara, I can't. I have to go to my cousin's house today, you know, the
one who owns a ranch?" Kana replies.
"O. Okay then, Kana. See you later."
"Bye." Lara hangs up, then dials June's number (which hasn't changed, and
Lara remembers) and invites her. After she rejects the offer, because she is
sick, Lara calls Kylie (same case with the phone number here) and calls
everyone who she knows (except the boys) and is able to come up with nothing.
She goes to her mother and father, who are packing to leave.
"So who is coming?" Lara's father asks.
"No one yet, no one is able to come. I know you said no boys, but Travis is
the only one I can think of that I haven't tried yet." Lara's father gets a
funny look on his face, and then Lara's mother speaks.
"Why don't you try that girl who lives down the street, Maria, she's really
very nice, I've met her and her mother a few times, and since you don't know
her very well, this would prove as an excellent chance to get to know her
better. And if she can't come, you can invite Travis."
"Alright. What is her number?"
"I believe it is 333-3333."
"Wow, that's easy to remember, all three's!" Lara dials the number on the
phone.
"Hello? This is Maria, how may I help you?" Maria answers the phone.
"Hi, Maria, this is Lara from down the street, look, I know we don't know
each other very well or anything, but would you like to go to the amusement
park with me today? It will be fun, I think." Lara says.
"Sure, I mean, well, let me ask mother first, be right back!" Maria lays the
phone down, and Lara can hear Maria's mother answer,
"You mean Mrs. Haruna's daughter? Of course you can go; I know and trust Mrs.
Haruna and her family well."
"Lara, good news, I can go! Give me around 10 minuets to get dressed and I'll
come over."
"You just go ahead and get dressed; we'll pick you up at your house." Lara
says kindly, rather excited that Maria was coming, and was hoping to make a
new friend.
"Alright. See you then!"
"Okay, see you!" they hang up and Lara goes to announce who their guest on
the trip will be.
"Whew, good." Lara's father sighed in relief, he was still afraid that she
would invite Travis.

Chapter II-Hamster
 

Hamtaro wakes up to the streaming rays of light coming into his cage at about
9:45.
Hamtaro yawns.
"Is it morning already? That was certainly a strange dream; me and Bijou and
Boss were in it. He recalls and imagines dream. He and Bijou were dancing in
the ham-ham clubhouse.
"I love you, Hamtaro."
"I love you too, Bijou." Boss gets tears in his eyes and runs straight
between them to the door.
"Boss!" Bijou cries.
"Oh dear, he must've heard us!" Hamtaro says.
"Why should that matter?" Bijou asks.
"Umm, well, because, he likes you too."
"Oh."
"I'm going to go talk to Boss, you should come too." Bijou nods her head in
agreement and they take each other's paws and go out the door. They search
for Boss, but when they find him, it's not a big of a relief as they thought.
He takes one look at them and starts crying, loudly. They still were holding
paws. They let go quickly, but wish they didn't have to do so.
"Let me talk to him, first." Bijou says to Hamtaro.
"Okay, if you want to." Bijou walks over to Boss and says,
"Umm, Boss, could I speak to you?" Boss tries to stop crying, and stops
mostly, but is still a little teary-eyed.
"Boss, I really do love you."
"Then why don't you get rid of Hamtaro?"
"You didn't let me finish. I was going to say I really do love you, but not
in the way I love Hamtaro. You are like a big brother to me, but that, I'm
afraid, is all."
"Let me talk to Hamtaro."
"Alright." She goes to Hamtaro and tells him Boss wants to speak with him,
but stays close by, just in case he tries to hurt him.
"So, looks like you won."
"Won what?"
"Bijou."
"Boss, Bijou is more to me than a prize."
"Oh."
"Oh what?"
"I was testing you; to see if that WAS all she was to you."
"Oh."
"I'll treat her well."
"You better. Now you guys should probably get back to the dance."
"What about you?"
"I'm not coming back 'till the dance is over."
"Why?"
"I wouldn't have anyone to dance with."
"You could dance with Bijou."
"Well, why not?" they shake paws, and make their way back to the dance. Bijou
stops along the way. Hamtaro does, too.
"Hey, what's the hold-up?" Boss asks.
"Go ahead, Boss, we'll be there in a minute." Hamtaro says. Boss goes ahead.
"Hamtaro, thank you."
"For what?"
"For being nice to Boss." She hugs him tightly and kisses him gently and
lovingly. They take each other's paws. And continue walking, not saying a
word to each other. (This sound familiar? Read Bijou's Love, another fic by
yours truly, and read.)
Hamtaro wakes up from daydream, and ponders the dream thoughtfully.
"They say that dreams often apply to real life. Does that mean me and Bijou
are supposed to be together? No, Boss likes her, and if I want to keep being
his friend I'd better not go there. But she is really nice and blushes around
me, I think she at least used to have a crush on me, who knows? Well, it will
never happen anyway, it was only a dream; I don't need to worry about it. I
probably won't even get to see her in the next week, Lara won't leave the
house! And Boss has begun to get more serious about finally telling Bijou how
he feels. So he'll get to her before I could, wait. What do I mean before I
could? I don't want to get her, do I? I mean, I guess it could be that I was
dreaming about us together like that since I love her, but as I said, Boss
will get her love before me." Hamtaro sighs heavily, realizing he loves the
girl he can't have. Or so he thinks-
"Morning, Hamtaro! I see you're awake. I won't be able to play today; I'm
going to go to the amusement park!"
"So I can go to the clubhouse? I can see Bijou!" Hamtaro blushes and then
says, "And the rest of the ham-hams too, I meant to mention them, I think."
"I wouldn't leave you all alone without even mom and dad, but since they're
coming too, a new friend, someone who you probably have never met before, is
coming to play. She's Maria's hamster, I'm keeping her here because her
parents won't be able to stay with Bijou, I think her name is, and she will
need a playmate like you do!"
A whole day with Bijou?!? That's better than the clubhouse. One problem,
she'll want to go see the other hams! Maybe I can make her stay here with me
though."

Chapter III-Humans
 

"Good morning, Lara! Hello, Mrs. and Mr. Haruna!" Maria greets the family.
"Please, come in. Lara, why don't you come look at my hamster, Bijou?" Maria
offers.
"Okay, I can't wait to meet her!" The two girls run up the stairs to Maria's
bedroom.
"Good morning! Please, come in!" Maria's mother answers to the door and says.
After Lara and Maria make it up a long flight of stairs to Maria's bedroom,
Lara is immediately filled with awe at the beautiful room, covered in pink.
"Oh wow! What a beautiful room, it looks like a room for a princess!"
"That's what I thought at first, too." Maria says. "But now I'm nearly sick
of it! Too much pink! Pink pillows, pink walls, pink blankets, pink teddy
bears, I even have pink hair brushes!" Lara and Maria laugh.
"I'd better get Bijou over to my place real quick. It's just down the street,
I'll walk down there."
"I'll go too."
"Okay then. Let's go!" Lara picks up Bijou's carrier after admiring Bijou's
little ribbons and walks with Maria down the street and they go up to Lara's
room once they're in the house.
"Now THIS," Maria pauses to look around at the room, "is a room! It is so
nice in here!"
"Well, it's not much, but it's a place to sleep and write in my journal and
do my homework. And look! Here's my hamster, Hamtaro!"
"Aww, he's so cute!"
"Thanks!" Hamtaro says to himself.
"Hmm." Maria says, then moves around the cage, studying the hamster.
"I can't help but think I've seen him before. I think he was dancing for
Bijou outside our bedroom window on a limb of a tree." Lara tries not to but
bursts out laughing. Maria laughs along, realizing the silliness of what she
had said.
"Lara! What is taking you so long? We need to go!" Lara's mother called from
outside the house.
"Come on!" Lara says, then runs out the door excitedly right after putting
Bijou's carrier down on the floor.

Chapter IV-Hamsters
 

"Hamha, Bijou!" Hamtaro says, then suddenly blushes, for what reason he does
not know.
"Hello, Hamtaro. It has been long since I have seen you."
"Yeah, too long." he says, then looks at her dreamily, then suddenly wakes up
(from a daydreamish kind of phase), blushes a lot and says,
"I mean, it's been too long since I've been out of the carrier, Lara wouldn't
leave for anything!"
"Would you like to go to the clubhouse now?" Bijou asks him.
"Actually, Bijou, I was wondering if you would like to stay here and play
with me today."
"Well." Bijou starts and pauses. Hamtaro suddenly feels very shy and dorky
about what he had just said and added,
"But we don't have to if you don't want to."
"NO! I mean, no, no, I'd like to stay here with you, Hamtaro." Bijou says,
blushing.
"Okay! Hey, have you eaten yet? I'm rather hungry myself, and I have caramel
sunflower seeds, I've been saving them for a special occasion! Would you like
to join me?"
"Caramel sunflower seeds? I have not tried them before! They sound delicious,
though!"
"They are, Bijou! Come and try some!" They climb up to Hamtaro's carrier then
go to the little corner in which he has kept some in. Bijou cracks the shell
of one, nibbles the seed a bit and says in approval:
"My new favorite food! It is so delicious!"
"I'm glad you like it." Hamtaro says to her. Hamtaro watches her eat with a
smile on his face.
"What is wrong? Do I have anything in my fur?" She says, and begins to comb
through the hair in ribbons.
"No! I was just admiring that beautiful French accent you have." He says. She
blushes at him.
"Boy, I must have it bad." Hamtaro thinks to himself. After they were done
eating Hamtaro speaks to Bijou.
"So what would you like to do? Play in the wheel? Explore my house? Play with
the marbles? I have a few story books that I borrowed from Maxwell. You're
the guest, you decide."
"Umm, what story books do you have?"
"Let's see. Rapunzel Ham and Lots of Love and Adventure Hamster Stories." He
blushed a little when he realized he told Bijou he likes romance stories.
"Which one do you like better?" She asked.
"Umm, well actually, they are both really good. You can read the summaries
and tell me which you'd rather read."
"Lots of Love and Adventure Hamster Stories sounds lovely." She said, after
taking a minute to read the back of each book.
"Okay. Here, Sit here and I can sit next to you so we can both read it." He
said, pointing to a corner. As they sat down Hamtaro took the chance of
putting his arm around her. He expected her to pull away, but instead he
found she rested her head on his shoulder as he began to read to her. They
spent the entire day reading stories from that book, until it was late. Maria
and Lara weren't back yet, so they both decided to sleep. But one problem. It
got really, really cold in the night, even with it being the middle of
summer. Lara had given Hamtaro a small hamster-size cover. But only one.
Hamtaro offered to give Bijou the cover, just for tonight, knowing how cold
it would get. But Bijou wouldn't accept. Finally they came up with the
agreement to share the cover, though it wasn't quite big enough. They cuddled
together, suddenly forgetting there fears of what could happen if they did
fall in love.

Chapter V-humans
 

    Maria and Lara and Lara's parents came in to a silent house. Not event
the sound of playing hamsters could be heard.
"Brrrrrrrrr... It's cold in here!" Maria said, beginning to shiver.
"Oh my gosh, I forgot how cold it gets!" Lara says, beginning to run upstairs
in fear of a frozen Hamtaro and Bijou lying there. At first when she walked
in and saw Hamtaro and Bijou lying down she began panicking and thinking they
were dead. But Maria was the one to realize they were just asleep.
"Oh, Lara! Look how sweet! They're cuddled up together to keep each other
warm!" Lara looked at them in relief and then noticed how cute they were.
"I was pretty sure Hamtaro would get along with Bijou well, he's really
friendly, but I didn't expect he would this well!" The girls giggled and
cooed over their hamsters, and did other things until about 8:30 pm when
Lara's father asked for Maria to come downstairs because she needed to come
home.
"Oh, I wish I didn't have to go, I have had so much fun with you today,
Lara!" Maria says. Lara smiles to her then suddenly starts grinning and
thinking.
"I have an idea! You don't want to go home, right? So why don't you stay the
night here?"
"Oh, that would be so much fun!"
"Let me ask my Dad!" Lara runs downstairs to her father.
"Is Maria ready yet?" her father questions her.
"Actually Dad, "Lara begins, "Maria and I came up with an idea, and well, we
think it would be fun if she stayed the night."
"That's alright with us, dear, as long as her parents don't mind and she
likes Lasagna and salads, because that's what I'm cooking for dinner."
"Can I call her parents?"
"I'd rather go speak to her. You girls can come along."
They all go to Maria's house and the girl's play with Bijou, whom they had
brought along incase Maria's mother didn't let her stay the night. Lara's mom
asks Maria's mother if Maria could spend the night.
"I don't know, I mean they only met today." The girls begin begging and
pleading Maria's mother. Maria's mother laughs.
"I guess one day is all it takes to become good friends! Of course, you can
stay at the Haruna's, Maria."
"Yahoo!" both of the girls shout. Maria goes upstairs to pack some clothes,
her favorite teddy bear (which was not pink), and more things for
entertainment at Lara's house, especially a lot of scary movies for the girls
to watch.

Chapter VI-hamsters
 

    Hamtaro and Bijou woke up to Maria gently reaching into the cage and
lifting up into her hands. Hamtaro started blushing and waved goodbye to her
and she blew him a flirty little kiss.
"I love Hamtaro so; I hope one day he will love me the same way." Bijou said
to herself.
"Bijou is so nice, and cute with her hair in those ribbons, I really think
that we are meant to be, with or without Boss." Hamtaro said to himself.
Hamtaro was thinking about what he would do tomorrow if he went to the
ham-ham clubhouse.
"Wait a minute!!! Was she flirting with me when she blew me that kiss?!?" He
asked aloud in sudden wonder.
"Maybe, maybe not." Bijou replied.
"Bijou?!?" Hamtaro begins to blush so that his whole face turns red. Bijou
giggles a bit to herself. "Ummm.." He said once he'd cooled down some, "What
are you doing here.?"
"Maria is spending the night!"
"Oh?"
"And she never leaves me at home when she goes overnight somewhere."
'Oh! Well, In that case, want to read some more stories?"
"Actually, I was wondering if you'd like to come watch movies with Maria,
Lara, and I."
"What kind are they?"
"Adventurous ones, most of them are very romantic as well."
"Okay, when do we go?"
"Right now. There starting the movie as soon as Lara and Maria change into
some sleeping clothes, but we'd better hurry if we'd like to beat them
there!"
"Okay, let's go!" The two hamsters get out of Hamtaro's carrier and run out
the room, down the stairs, and to the TV room. They get on a pillow on the
floor that the girls had left after pillow fighting earlier. Hamtaro goes
under the couch and gets a small piece of cloth he had hidden in case he
would need it someday away from the reach of human hands (or feet).
"This will make an excellent blanket!" he says proudly to himself. He and
Bijou lie down on the pillow and cover up with the piece of cloth. They
watched three movies with both Lara and Maria, and neither one of them could
help but pretend they were the main characters in them, who always fell in
love and kissed in the end, but neither one them told each other that. That
night Hamtaro dreamed that he was a military soldier and Bijou was a
scientist and they were working on a missing nuclear warhead case together…

Chapter VII-Hamsters
 

Bijou notices Hamtaro yawning and waking up and greets him.
"Good Morning, Hamtaro." She had been listening to Hamtaro talk in his sleep.
She was nearly tear-eyed from laughing at it.
"Morning, Bijou." He says. He looks around.
"Looks like Lara put us back in my carrier." Bijou nods.
"Hey! For breakfast I have some treats. Do you want some?"
"Yes, that would be nice." Hamtaro digs out the treats and puts them out.
During breakfast Bijou has a discussion similar (if not exact) to this one:
"So, do you thing you will be able to get out to the clubhouse today?" Bijou
asks.
"I hope so. I haven't seen Oxnard in forever!"
"And I miss Pashmina."
"I was wondering, do you think Stan really likes Pashmina?"
"I don't know. He might just be flirting. I don't think he cares for her as
much as Howdy and Dexter do."
"I wonder if the rivalry between Howdy and Dexter for Pashmina will ever
end."
"Maybe. I think Howdy would be better for her though. He really seems to care
for her, and he has a sense of humor. Not a good one. But he likes to joke."
"I agree. I think we should find a hamster for Dexter to end this though. I
think I saw some hamster gals, one with glasses, walking around the other
day."
"Hamtaro?"
"Yes?"
"Does Boss like me?" Hamtaro sighs.
"Yes."
"Oh, poor Boss."
"Why?"
"Because I like someone else."
"Who?"
"Hamtaro?"
"Yes?"
"Do you like me?"
"Well, ummm, well, uhh, yes."
"Maria! Time to go!" the hamsters here Mrs. Haruna calling.
"Oh, and Hamtaro," Bijou says as Maria reaches in the carrier for her.
"Yes?"
"When I blew that kiss to you, I was flirting." And then she was gone.

Chapter VIII-Hamsters
"Hey, Hamtaro! Kana just called and I'm going over there. See you later!"
"Great! Now I'll be able to go and play with the ham-hams!" Hamtaro goes down
the drain, comes out, says "Oopa!" as he twirls twice in the air, lands on
Brandy's head, greets him, and runs off to the clubhouse.
"I need to tell someone about Bijou and me! And maybe I'll see her there,
too!"
Meanwhile...
"Bijou, since I've been with Lara so long the last few days I need to
practice my piano. I'll be busy for a few hours, Okay?" Maria walks out.
Bijou says to herself
"Great! I can go to the clubhouse, visit Pashmina and the others, and I might
even tell the girls that I finally have found out and kind of told Hamtaro I
like him and he likes me!" She gets out of the carrier, jumps out onto the
tree limb, and runs to the clubhouse. She sees Hamtaro up ahead and gets
closer to hear what he's saying, making sure to be quite enough so that he
doesn't here her.
"I need to tell someone about Bijou and me! And maybe I'll see her there,
too!" Bijou backs up then runs up to him so that it appears as if she hadn't
heard him.
"Hello, Hamtaro. Why don't you slow down a bit so we can talk?" Hamtaro slows
down, and so does Bijou.
"Hamha, Bijou! I came to see if you would be there; you asked me this morning
if I would, I assumed that meant something like 'I'm going to be at the
clubhouse today want to come?'"
"You assumed right. So how will you tell Boss?"
"Tell him what?"
"That I like you." Hamtaro and Bijou both blush.
"I don't know if I can. Maybe you should, he wouldn't pound you flat into the
ground."
"Maybe we should wait a while to see if that little crush he has clears up,
then."
"In that case, we'd better not tell anyone, they might tell Boss."
"I suppose."
"Hey! Know what I just realized? Lara starts school again tomorrow, because
Christmas/ New Year's Break is over!"
"That is good news! Maybe in time we will be able to tell the rest about us."
"So until then, let's just all around keep a cool, at and not at clubhouse."
"Yes, it is most likely for the better."

Connecting Details
 

In time Hamtaro returned to the normal, less romantic more curious elf, but
always remembered of his love for Bijou, and always remained faithful to it,
but began doubting that Bijou loved him any more. Finally at Valentine's Day,
the next month, when Bijou and Hamtaro presented each other with gifts, they
decided to not keep their love as hidden anymore, but not completely out in
the open (don't get that much? I meant for you two read this after my other
three fics in this series [my story about Sandy and Maxwell not included in
this series] but if you haven't after reading this story for more info read
my first fic, Valentines Day). Two weeks after Valentine's Day, in the first
week of March, Hamtaro and Bijou finally become boyfriend and girlfriend,
even under Boss's knowledge (Read this fic first? Then read Valentine's Day
then Bijou's love after you read this fic). Many things came to test their
love, Kiro, an old friend of Hamtaro's, moving to the neighborhood, which
ended in Boss and Kiro becoming girl and boyfriend (read Boss's Girl-Ham
after reading Valentine's Day and Bijou's Love), and the time when Boss
doubted his love of Kiro and thought about Bijou again, (working on this fic,
that's a kind of spoiler for ya, but who cares?)and other adventures that I
haven't made up yet. But fortunately for this series of fanfics, they were
able to remain true to each other the whole time, Kind of like Cory and
Topanga off of Boy Meets World, except without the breaking up every two
weeks.
Anyway, the next chapter begins with the summer following those events; Laura
has just graduated from sixth grade and still has a crush on Travis, and has
come a bit closer to Maria as friends then Kana can bear.
 

Chapter IX--humans
 

"Oh, Maria! Isn't Travis so cute?" Lara asked her friend, who had started
coming to her school at the beginning of the year, while watching their two
hamsters play.
"To you, maybe, but I think he's a show off."
"Maybe just a little."
"Oooooh, look Lara! Bijou and Hamtaro are playing in the wiz-wheel!"
"I think Hamtaro really likes Bijou. I bet he misses Oxnard. Hey! Let's
invite Kana and Oxnard over!"
"Okay." Maria said less excitedly than Lara. Maria and Kana aren't very good
friends, they don't agree on a lot of things. Lara goes down stairs and calls
up Kana, and Kana says she'd be right over with Oxnard.
"Hey Hamtaro! Oxnard's coming over to play!"
"Yeah Bijou. Won't it be fun to play with him?" When Kana comes both Lara and
Maria answer the door.
"Hi Kana!" they both say.
"Hi Lara! Oh. Maria. I didn't know you'd be here."
"Hi Kana, nice to see you too." Kana rolls her eyes.
"Whatever. Hey, Lara! Why don't you and I go get some ice cream?"
"Sounds great! Maria and I will get our shoes on, then we'll get back here."
"Uhh, Lara, I kinda meant you, me and Maria, minus the Maria."
"Why?"
"I don't know. It's just, you two hang out all the time. I never see you
anymore."
"Oh, come on! Maria is really fun, and she's at least trying to be nice,
unlike someone else I know."
"Listen, Lara, I don't mind Maria, it's just, she's stealing you from me."
"Whatever. Listen, let's go, we don't need to argue over this anymore.
Besides, it would be totally mean to exclude Maria."
"Like you've been doing me?" Lara rolls her eyes, gets her shoes on, and goes
with Maria and Kana to the ice cream place. Maria has a great time, but Kana
and Lara can't help but wish they were somewhere else. The next day Lara
invites Kana and Maria to a sleep over, and Kana rejects.
"I've got better things to do than talk to you. I'm going to June's house,
and Kylie is coming, too. Maybe they will turn out as my new best friends."
"Fine, I'll invite Cara (that's Kiro's owner) then!" then slams down the
phone. She calls Cara and invites her, and Cara excitedly accepts.
"I don't usually go to sleepovers! Should I bring anything?"
"You can bring your hamster, Kiro, if you want."
"Okay! See you tonight!" Lara felt miserable. Her very best friend hated her,
She was inviting Cara, the bookworm smarty-pants, teacher's pet Cara, to her
sleepover, and her dog Brandy was sick and at the vet.
"How could things get worse?" It started raining and the power went out. Lara
cursed under her breath.

Chapter X-hamsters
 

"Hey, Bijou! Want to play in the wheel?" said Hamtaro. (As you can see,
Hamtaro is not as romantic anymore; he's now a curious little fellow, but
still loves Bijou very much.) Bijou had been reading a book to herself.
"Sure, why not?" They get in the wheel and begin running. Hamtaro laughs as
he quickens up, challenging Bijou to a sort of race. Bijou laughs as well and
begins to run faster.
"Catch me if you can!" Hamtaro shouts playfully and he speeds up even more.
"Here I come!" Bijou speeds up to his speed.
"Oooooh, look Lara! Bijou and Hamtaro are playing in the wiz-wheel!" Maria
says.
"I think Hamtaro really likes Bijou." Says Lara.
"You jot that right!" Hamtaro says to himself replying to Lara's comment.
"I bet he misses Oxnard. Hey! Let's invite Kana and Oxnard over!"
"Great idea, Lara!" Hamtaro says. Lara runs down stairs and calls Kana.
"Hey, Hamtaro! Oxnard's coming over to play!"
"Great! Now I'll have my best friend AND my girlfriend here! Hey! Slow down!"
Hamtaro had slowed down talking to himself and Bijou was going faster than
him. Bijou jumps out, expecting Hamtaro to do the same, but the wheel begins
spinning out of control, like a fair wheel, only Hamtaro was stuck to one
side was being flipped upside down and everything. Once it goes upside down
another time Hamtaro falls out and lands on his head, then bounces with his
head onto his bottom. His eyes get those swirl things in them and is nearly
unconscious.
"Hamtaro are you all right?"
"Kushi Kushi, yeah, I think so. Hey! Did you hear? Oxnard's coming! Too bad
we can't go to the clubhouse. It's raining!"
"Schmubby Wubby. I love you Hamtaro."
"Thanks! I love you too, Bijou. Hey, I'm hungry! Want a sunflower seed?"
Bijou smiles to herself and the child-like behavior of Hamtaro, one of the
many reasons she loved him.
"Bijou? Hello? Earth to ham-ham?"
"Oh, ummm, no, I don't think I'm hungry."
"Suit yourself!" Hamtaro gets a seed and begins eating.
"Krhmm Krhmm," Hamtaro mutters as he eats.
"Hamha fellow hamsters!" Oxnard says.
"Hamha, Oxnard!"
"Hello, Oxnard."
"Hey, it has stopped raining outside, want to go to the clubhouse?"
"Do you want to, Bijou?" Hamtaro asks. Bijou nods her head.
"Okay, let's go!" Bijou takes Hamtaro's hand and the three walk out of the
carrier because the girls have left. Hamtaro leads them down the pipe, and
lands on Brandy's head. Soon after Bijou does, then Oxnard, knocking Hamtaro
off of Brandy because there is only enough room at a time and Oxnard, at the
angle he landed, pushed Bijou forward pushing Hamtaro off.
"Hey, race you guys to the clubhouse."
"Okay." Both Bijou and Oxnard agreed.
"On the count of three. One, two,"
"THREE!" They all shout ed together and began running. Hamtaro was soon in
the lead, then came Bijou, Then two minutes later Oxnard came running up.
"What took you so long?"
"I lost my seed." They all go inside the clubhouse.
"Hamha, everyone!" they all say.
"Hi, you guys!" Pashmina says.
"Ookyoo!"
"Hamha!" every one else says. Hamtaro immediately goes to the table where
everyone is sitting. Bijou and Oxnard follow.
"Why is everyone sitting?" Hamtaro asks.
"Because Maxwell is reading us a story." Bijou sits next to Hamtaro.
"Actually, I haven't started reading it yet, But I was about to start before
you got here." Maxwell says.
"Okay then, go on." Pashmina says.
"Yeah, start the story!" Boss cries. Maxwell reads a story about a fair
Maiden and a brave night and a stolen golden ring that must be returned to
their kingdom in order to restore peace. Or something like that. After
Hamtaro got home he rested peacefully and when he woke up it was morning and
Bijou was gone. She soon was back, though because Lara was having a
sleep-over. Kiro came, too.
"Oxnard must be coming, soon then, because Lara almost always invites Kana to
stay the night when she's having a sleep over!" But Oxnard never came. The
next week Hamtaro gets some exciting news, but let's go to the next chapter
to find out what that is!

Chapter XI-- humans
Lara woke up the next morning. She had had a wonderful time. She and Cara and
Maria had all had such fun.
"I don't need Kana to have fun. And what was that whole stealing from her
thing the other day? I'm not an object to be stole. I hope she has fun with
Kylie and June, I'm happy for her." The week passed and Kana grew angrier as
Lara became happier. The next week a bit of exciting news was found, though.
Maria was going to spend the summer in France, and Lara was invited to go,
too! Lara's parent's were reluctant to let her go, but realized she was old
enough to take care of herself.
"Hamtaro can come, too."
"Could I use your carrier for Hamtaro, while Bijou was in there, I mean, I
don't want to bring mine there, I'll just buy a new one in France."
"Sure, why not? Hey, why bother buying a new one? The hamsters seem to like
each other enough!" Lara giggles.
"Yeah. So when do we go?"
"Next week, you need to get a passport before then."
"Oh, yeah! I completely forgot about that."
"I can probably go with you tomorrow to get one."
"Okay. Hey, let's put all our hamsters in the same carrier before we go to
eat so they can play."
"Does Hamtaro know Kiro? I don't think it would be a good idea to put her in
with the others otherwise."
"Yeah, he knows her, the played when they were younger all the time because I
used to live just across the street from Lara." Cara says suddenly. They put
their hamsters in Hamtaro's carrier and go to get some pizza, which is why
Lara invited them in the first place.

Chapter XII--hamsters
"Hey, Bijou! Did you hear that? I'm going to get to go with you to France for
the entire summer!"
"Yes, and you will get to meet my old friend, Jem! She is really kind, and
loves to play, just like you."
"Yeah, and we get to go in the same carrier all summer! We will be living
together!"
"You uhh, ummm, guys are so, er, lucky." Said Kiro.
"Hey, let's go to the clubhouse to announce the news!" Hamtaro suggested, and
without reply, rushed out the carrier down the drain, and onto Brandy's head.
Then after announcing the news to the dog, he ran off to the clubhouse, the
girls not far behind him.
"Hamha, everyone! I've got really exciting news!" everyone their said hello
back, then perked up their ears to hear what Hamtaro was so excited about.
Bijou and Kiro come in and Bijou stands next to Hamtaro and Kiro goes and
says hello to Boss.
"So what is the big news?" Maxwell asked.
"Yeah, Hamtaro, tell us!" Howdy said.
"Well, it really only kinda concerns me and Bijou, and it's kind of happy,
kind of sad."
"WHAT IS IT ALREADY?!?" Every one yells in frustration.
"Hamtaro and I are going to France for the whole summer starting next week!"
Bijou says before Hamtaro can stall any longer.
"Wow! To France?"
"You're so lucky!"
"Can I come, too?"
"What's the big deal? I mean, it's just to France!" Cappy says.
"It's really far away! You know, like, next to London!" Sandy explains.
"Isn't London in Kentucky?" everyone anime sweatdrops.
"Wait a minute! I don't see the bad part here!" Dexter says.
"Well, I mean, that means not seeing you guys for a whole summer!" Hamtaro
explains. Everyone suddenly realizes that this is true.
"I didn't think about that."
"Neither did I."
"I don't think anyone did." Maxwell says. They all sigh sadly.
The week passes as Hamtaro notices many of the things in Lara's bedroom turn
into luggage boxes, and counts six days go by. Early on the seventh day,
Hamtaro goes out to meet hi girlfriend and say good-bye to the hams. Everyone
had agreed the previous day to show up early for the good-bye ceremony. The
two hold hands as they walk. It is still dark outside. Hamtaro yawns.
"I'm tired, and kind of sad."
"Yes, I will miss the ham-hams."
"But we're going to Paris! Yippee!" They both laugh and continue on their
way. They make it, open the door together, and
"SURPRISE!!!!!" a loud sound of noise makers and greetings and confetti
attack the two. They are a bit startled, but thank their friends over and
over. About half an hour later Sandy announced something.
"Gift time!"
"Gifts?" Hamtaro asked.
"You shouldn't have, oh this is very kind of you all." Many gifts were given.
Hamtaro and Bijou got a sweater and scarf and a hat each, Little hamster
backpacks filled with sunflower seeds, and many other goodies and trinkets.
And of course, a photo frame of a picture of all the hamsters, to remember
them over the summer. Then they all hug and cry and say their good byes, as
finally an hour came to a close and Hamtaro and Bijou walked out the door not
to be seen 'till the beginning of fall.
