Causes I Support
These causes are very important to me.
I hope to shed some light  in the midst of darkness.
Being a horse owner and lover of horses for 39 years
I can not even come close to understanding why  horse abuse and horse slaughter is tolerated in this country. The laws must be more stringent and people held accountable  for these horrific acts. I know if more public awareness is made that it would certainly open more eyes to this disgrace done unto these
magnificent  creatures.

The pain and suffering must end.
The Horse's Prayer
Feed me, water and care for me,
and when the day's work is done,
provide me with shelter and
a clean dry stall large enough
for me to lie down in comfort.

Talk to me as your voice means
as much to me as the reins.
Pet me sometimes that I may serve you
more gladly and learn to love you.

And finally, oh master,
When my youthful strength is gone,
do not turn me out to freeze,
or sell me to some cruel owner
to be slowly tortured or stoned to death.
Take my life in the kindest way, and
your God will reward you here and hereafter.

You will not consider me irreverent if I ask this
in the name of him who was born in a stable....

  Amen....
