  Well I finally got around to working on my Rant and Blog page.  I hope you like the results.  Besides doing this, I’ve been writing more on the new chapter of TJ, as well as on two other stories I started some time ago.  I had to work on those two for the Director of Sales at StarBooks Press.  He read TJ and asked me if I had anything else to send him to evaluate for future publishing possibilities.

 

  So I typed like mad to get the two stories (just the first two chapters of each story) ready for him to look over.  The idea here is just to let him see if he likes my writing style enough to chance publishing a piece I would send him in the future. 

 

  And keep in mind, this is completely separate from the short story I am contributing to the anthology I spoke of when I posted the last chapter of TJ.  Although it will be with StarBooks Press as well, it is through a different editor, and is his project.

 

  Mr. Marquis, the Sales Director, said he liked TJ, but that StarBooks Press no longer publishes stories with underage characters in them.  One of the two stories I sent him also revolves around 17 and 18 y/o’s as well.  The other one, I hope, will interest him enough to consider it when it’s finished.

 

  When TJ is finished, I’m considering going back and re-writing it so Danny is 18 throughout the story, instead of turning 18 well into it as it stands.  But that changes some important scenes, so I’m not really sure I want to tackle that.  I guess it depends on if I am really pleased with the overall story by when it’s all wrapped up.

 

  In the real world currently, my lover and I are about to sell our house and we don’t know exactly where we’ll move to, but I plan on taking about a year to devote to nothing but writing---- of course, that’s a commitment that could change, depending on what we get into, like another business or something.  We’re also toying with the idea of creating a commercial website.  We’ll see how it all goes.
